How much a movie ticket cost in your locality?

So reasonable price. In my region, it' is about 2.1-3.1 US$

in chennai i pay somthing around 150-200 rupees for a ticket.and snacks in between will come to additinal 100-200 rupees.parking 50 rupees.imagine a couple going to movies will easily spend 600 rupees for a show!!

It costs $7.50 on tuesday only and $9.50 the other day , but there are also gold class tickets which cost up to $20 ++ yea .. it is really expensive here in Singapore

Movie tickets have gotten way too expensive where I live. A child 12 years old and under pays $9 and an adult pays $12. I rarely go now bwcause of the prices and am content waiting until the movie comes out on DVD and renting it for $3.

Here in Philippines a regular cinema would charge $2.5 but if you will go on the premiere one like IMAX they charge about $6.25. That why piracy is all over the city, because more and more people preferred to but a pirated VCD for $0.63 and watch the movie in their house rather than paying of $2.5 to 6.25 at cinema.

In Italy it cost about $10 on week-end: it is very expensive.

A movie ticket in a very good super grade cinema will be about $1.50 and other cinemas it will be a little less than a dollar. But when when you go to the movie we have to spend on drinks and short eats which is additional costs. Also we go as a crowd and the total expenditure is massive. So most of the time we buy the DVD for $2.

damn. if i say im a student i only have to pay 7.00 for a movie ticket

there in India is cheap then... here in Romania if you go to multiplex is 5$-6$ and 2.50$ for students! i think is a little high the price...
