Will Madonna change the world?

Last night I saw the documentary about Madonna and I saw a completely new side of her wanting to change the world and make people react and do something good with their life. She sings about war and politics and some fans were dissapointed "I thought I was coming to see a show not listen to politics" a fan said.
What do you think, do you think Madonna is right using her fame to get people to listen? Can she really make a difference? Or do you think she should just keep singing without any politics and so on involved?

Madonna is my idol.
That sounds strange, right?
I've loved her since 1983 and will continue to do so!
I think she has changed alot and is trying to educate people on politics and war. Her having money to do so certainly helps! More power to her since she has the money and the time! I've have listened to her and agree with alot she has to say.
She also got me interested in Kabbalah...which changed my entire world. So - yes she has made me react and she brought more good into my life through her music and Kabbalah!

i myself think madonna is trying to buy her way into heaven.i don't know how old you are,but in madonna's early years she had alot of religious taboo's in her videos and shows,also just recently,perhaps she's wakeing up.it's nice she adopted a baby but why not in her own country,attention i think.the fan was right,he's not paying for her views on the world he's paying for her talent(as a singer)it's like the dixie chicks bashing bush and getting bad press,who cares,i don't care what they think,i like the music,thats what i'm paying for:}

yes I know about her earlier behavior etc but I do think it's only good she's "woken-up"now and tries to change. Even adopting a child from another country, the baby does need help and why not Madonna? I do also understand that some fans don't agreee with her about politics. thanks.

Again, or hasn't she already. I don't think there is one person in the world that hasn't heard of her, and you can't say that about too many people.

By single person, it is not possible...it depends on the interpersonal matter..so it is not possible...

I like Madonna too. I wonder where you saw the documentary. Was it on National Geographic? We'll never know what she is up to and what really motivates her to sing about war and politics. I give her the benefit of the doubt because most of the time the media are not too kind to celebrities. Like when she adopted that baby, which is something admirable, yet they made a lot of fuss over it. She seems to have changed in her outlook on life ever since she had a child.

well she made a differemce to you and all it takes is one person,if you can help or change just one person's mind towards good it's worth all you go through.

I really think that madonna already changed the world,She always try to be another woman a new one.And it's a really good thing that she use the celebritie to convince other people who likes her to do like her and if they do something good even if it's only just cause they like her who cares.

I think it is her right if she wants to change her image and want to sing about politics. It is up to her fans if they still want to admire her for changing her way of singing.

If a celebrity is making rounds on all the media outlet and just have everything to say about the current world situation, they are promoting something...world tour, a new album and a new book. If they don't have anything, they hide on their mansions and hibernate.
Madonna can make a difference somehow if she teaches what she preaches.

I think Madonna is doing it to benefit herself and no one else. there are millions of people that have spent there whole loves campaigning for the exact same causes as these celebritys yet a celebrity jumps on board for 2 mins and people praise them for saving the world

i think she can make a difference as she is a star and people listen to her songs and if she makes certain points i think they will get noticed and i feel she can help in her way (singing) in changing this world

i love madonna...but i dont think she will change the world and how it looks at racism, politics and war etc...as everyone has their own opinions about these subjects, so one celebrity isnt going to alter everyones opinions, maybe a few, but not all
