We have found quite a few different recipes for hamburger and a lot of them don't take very much time to prepare either. We enjoy each recipe for it's unique flavors and how each one is prepared differently. They seem to cover a lot of different cultures as well. Here are the suggestions that I have for you: - mix some browned ground beef with a couple teaspoons of chili powder, a can of tomato sauce and a can of refried beans and warm up on the stove. this makes an excellent filling for burritos. We've had it plenty of times and it's always filling. - mix some browned ground beef with a couple dashes of worcestershire sauce, a tablespoon of prepared mustard and a cup or two of ketchup. This makes the best sloppy joe sauce we have had yet. It's full of flavor. Serve it on buns or toast and top with a little shredded cheese. - take some browned ground beef, a jar of salsa and about three tablespoons of sour cream and mix all three together. This will give you a very satisfying dip for nacho chips. - take one can of manwich, two teaspoons of chili powder, a can of kidney beans and a couple dashes of pepper and throw these all in a large pot and simmer them on the stove over medium heat for at least an hour. Serve this with some buns and you'll end up with some great chili. - form the hamburger into small meatballs using a mixture of breadcrumbs, garlic powder and a little worcestershire sauce. Place in a casserole dish with a can or two of cream of mushroom soup and cook until meatballs are fully cooked. - take one lb. of ground beef and brown it in a skillet. As well, dice up one onion and add to hamburger and cook until the onions are soft and the ground beef is browned. Mix in one jar of your favorite pasta sauce. Pour over spaghetti noodles and place in a casserole dish. Top with mozzarella cheese and bake this in an oven at 350 degrees for about twenty five minutes. - take one lb. of browned ground beef & mix it with a jar of salsa & one can of corn. Stir in one box of prepared macaroni & cheese dinner. This will give you an easy & tasty tex-mex macaroni and cheese. - boil & mash roughly six to seven potatoes. Brown a lb. of ground beef & at the same time sautee one chopped onion until soft. Mix both of these together with one can of corn and one can of sweet peas. Place this mixture in the bottom of a casserole dish and top with the mashed potatoes. Top with shredded cheese and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. - brown ground beef and drain it. In a small bowl mix 1/4 cup of A-1 steak sauce, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1 tsp. salt and 1/3 cup of soy sauce and set it aside. Drain one can of mushrooms. Cook two stalks of celery, two medium onions and six scallions in a skillet until tender crisp. Mix in meat and sauce and continue to cook for another three minutes. Remove from heat and serve over rice. This makes a great sukiyaki beef. Hopefully I've been able to give you some ideas on how to cook hamburger differently than how you usually make it. I know we've made some of these dishes before and we've really enjoyed how they taste and that they fill you up every time. Thanks for allowing me to share! xx

I make a Cheeseburger Casserole that my family just loves. It is very easy, kind of reminds one of shepherds pie. Brown the hamburger in a large skillet, season with garlic, pepper, seasoning salt, and whatever other flavors your family likes. You can also add onion to the hamburger if your family likes onions. Drain it, then add ketchup, I am guessing about 1/2 to 3/4 cup. Add one can of drained corn, one can of drained green beans. Add 1/2 c. shredded cheese. Mix and let cheese melt all the way. Put into a large baking dish. Top with mashed potatoes. Then top the mashed potatoes with more grated cheese. Bake in the oven at 350 until cheese on top is melted and mixture below is bubbling. Then serve. Hope this helps. A great recipe site for easy meals too is http://www.allrecipes.com
