I like to read Chat,
Chat magazine is a women's magazine full of real-life stories, (If you believe them, lol)puzzles, competitions, tips and other real-life stuff. It doesn't have celebrity gossip, which is the thing that makes it different from the rest.

and She
SHE is a monthly magazine which has what they think is the very best in fashion, beauty, travel, health & well-being, house & garden, cooking, decorating and projects.

I don't buy a regular one , i usually buy one with my grocery shopping if the headline catches my eye . this week I bought FIRST because it had an article about size Zero for women , now I am the opposite I am as you probably know( cuddly) but I think the size zero is really sick looking ( sorry if a size zero reads this) xx

Don't laugh but every week religiously I buy Take A Break, but I buy it for all the crosswords, puzzles etc to complete for prizes, there are loads of them in every issue, I always send off the prize form in my mum's name but I've never won a thing for her. I've been sending them off every week without fail for about 10-15 years. After I've completed all the puzzles I save them up and take them over to mum when I go and visit her, she then once she has read them passes them onto her sister! It's money well spent in my eyes!

About 20 years ago I made my mind up to never buy another womens magazine again .. over half of the magazine I'd bought that day was adverts .. about half of the rest was 'silly' stuff about celebs .. and I reckoned I had read maybe one tenth of the whole magazine .. so that was it .. I've never bought one again since ..
The only magazine I might buy is a Formual 1 magazine at the start of the season .. just so I can get all the transfers, new rules and new colours fixed it my mind .. and I have SAGA that magazine for the over 50's ..
I treated myself to that on my fiftieth Birthday .. I bought a lifetimes subscription .. I couldn't believe how cheap it was .. just £80 and I would get SAGA magazines for ever or until I die or SAGA go broke .. all I had to do was live for 3.5 years after buying the magazine and according to the monthly price I would then get the magazine delivered to my door for FREE for the rest of my life .. so now I get the magazine for FREE .. that's great isn't it !!

Hi, It's very rare I read magazines nowadays, if I do it's usually something to do with music like Kerrang or boats, but on the very odd occasion I've picked up inside soap so I have a bit of inside knowledge in soap land being as I manage to miss most of them nowadays

The only two magazines that I subscribe to currently are Discover magazine and Linn's Stamp News, a weekly publication for stamp collectors. I used to read Newsweek, but I don't have as much free time for magazine reading as I used to.
