Evidently this happens to me!! I had been fighting with hubby yesterday and came in here and several of my discussions were about relationships or break ups and that sort. lol I thought about this afterwards.

Yes...this community is like picking up the phone and asking a question to many friends at one time. I havent had any questions about my own personal relationship but sometimes about how to parent my kids or if Im excited about something or if Im feeling something that I want to know how others feel about the same situation. Thanks for the topic. A real good one.

I think often we are seeking confirmation but find better answers instead.

I think so. If we have a bad night or a problem then its what is on our minds. Its also a place to get that feedback and different opinions. Its bond to effect our disscussions when we have a mood going on.

Yes, i think that our mood really is affecting the discussions that we are doing. I feel the same sometimes, it is really a big influence to the discussions that you are choosing to answer.

I don't let my moods come in the way of my responses. I have the ability to put my moods aside. For some it is hard to put your problems aside and not let them interfere when you are working with other people.

I'm not sure if my mood affects the "way" that I respond (and I actually hope it doesn't! LOL) but I've noticed that if I'm not having a very good day, I seem to be drawn to less discussions. I don't end up responding much and I am not even inclined to start new topics. It might be because my own thoughts are clouding my ability to participate as clearly as I'd like - those are the days that I tend not to log in too often because no one should have to deal with my mood but me ;)

I knew at this but I can see where my responses will be affected by my mood at least on certain topics.

I agree with you that has a big part to do with our responses and discussions. I try not to come on hear after a fight but sometimes if I do come on here after awhile my mood gets alot better. So I would say thankyou mylot.

Yup! You're absolutely right. There was this day I felt that my mother is overprotecting me so I made a discussion about her and my situation. But it's not only the mood that affects what kind of discussion I want to reply to. I usually choose those who I am interested with.
