just wondering if you still celebrate valentines day? you know going out for dinner for two or watch movies or just hang out in the park, or by the sea shore watching the sunset? some couples dont do this at all, and just simply celebrate valentines at home.

My husband and I have been married for 15 years and still celebrate Valentines day. I usally try to take him out or cook something really special. Sometimes I buy a new piece of lingere or a new massage oil and we celebrate at home with the kids all staying at friends. We live on the beach so we often enjoy a cup of warm cider or hot chocolate at sunset. Romance does not have to die just because you get comfortable with one another. Keep it fresh by trying new places to eat or new trails to hike. Romance can be as simple as doing the dishes together which I know most men don't understand. My husband often brings me a perfect rose from my own rose bush when it's in bloom to me that is more romantic than a dozen store bought roses. It simply says hey I was thinking about you and I still love you.

Haven't thought about celebrating Valentine's Day,but now that you talk about it, it's a good idea. We've been married a long time, and it's still good to do romantic things quite often...it's just the matter of getting on and doing them!

We celebrate Valentine's Day every year, but I do not know about this year. We'll see then.

Hey that's me. We're not that old but have been hitched for almost 26 years. We always go back to the hill overlooking the lake where he proposed on Valentines and our Anniversary. We have a picnic in the sled that we use for hayrides and in summer we go on horseback.

Last year we went to lunch at our favorite restaurant for valentine's day, but we waited until the day after so it wouldn't be as crowded. We're not exactly hopeless romantics I guess.

i am married and we usually spend it together at home. He always gives me a basket full of flowers and balloons every year :) now that we have a baby, we'll be spending it at our baby's pediatrician for his monthly vaccine :) and probably go to the mall right after the doctor's appointment :)
