My two Jacks

I have two Jack Russell terriers. They are brothers from the smae litter. I was pregnant when we got the first one only 8 weeks old he came from a coworker who was starting up a breeding kennel. A couple of weeks later he told me he still had another male left and not thinking straight I said we would take him as well to keep the first one company. It was hard to come up with names for them, but with my wild food cravings I naturally went with what I wanted then - Ben & Jerrys ice cream. So, Ben and Jerry are 3 years old now and life is very busy with them! We did obedience training with them and that did help with control issues, but they each have their own little quirks that I find annoying. Ben is obsessed with all birds, trees, and the dust blowing in the wind even. He will jump in circles and bark all day long until he wears a path into the ground. Jerry is cold outside in August and whines to come inside all day. Once inside he gets annoyed if Ben wants to play with him and will bark with a very yappy voice. I do like them, dont get me wrong, but life with 2 Jacks can prove very challenging at times! My daughter is 2 1/2 and the three of them get along very well. As they have grown up together they know my daughter is above them in the heirarcy and they submit to her when she pokes and prods at them. So, does anyone else have JRTs, and if so what do you do with them to burn off some energy and have fun? How are they with children for you? They have such personalities for dogs, and are very pesristent. I wouild love to hear your Jack Russell stories!
