You know what your saying makes a lot of sense. If your drinking coffee you want the actual taste of the coffee - not to change it by adding something to it. Hmmmm

Exactly! Adding sugar (or anything else) to coffee eliminates the real taste of coffee. So why drink coffee if you'll just make it sweet with sugar? =)

Don't get me wrong - I do have coffee many other ways but my boyfriend being Italian and a true connoiseur of coffee has taught me what "real coffee" is.

i prefer with cream and sugar i cant drink it without it, but sometimes i try to drink without sugar and then if i cant i put sugar, I have drank different kinds of coffee i tried one with mushroom i cant remember the name for me its the bsst coffe i ever drank. I hope i can rememebr that name, How about you have you tried different kinds of coffee

Mushroom in coffee? Hmm.. I haven't heard of that one before.. I once tried coffee with grapejuice.. It's ok. But I prefer straight, pure coffee.. =)

I drink my coffee with 2 teaspoons of sugar. Honestly i drink way too much coffee. I have tried coffee without sugar but find it way too bitter for my taste.

Most coffee drinkers prefer to add sugar to eliminate the bitter taste. IMO, you don't really drink 'coffee' in that manner. =) Well, it's just a matter of personal preference. =)

I hate coffee so no coffee and no sugar for me......some of my uncles drink it sugarless, but both my parents add some sugar....matter of tastes..

Yeah. It's a matter of personal preference. =) I see that you don't drink coffee. =) In my case, I am such a coffee craver that I drink coffee around 10 times a day.. =D

I drink my coffee without sugar. I used to use sugar in it when I was younger and if I stirred my mothers coffee with the same spoon as mine, she would swear I put sugar in her coffee. She said it tasted like poison. I never believed her until I started drinking it without sugar and she was right. I think it taste absolutely nasty with sugar in it...lol

Haha yeah. Most people drink coffee if they want to stay awake (especially during graveyard shifts). But in some people, the effect is the opposite (like me). =)

but sometimes i really need the sugar in my coffee.

Yeah! Coffee without sugar is real coffee. =) Sugar eliminates that bitterness in coffee which makes coffee.. err.. coffee. =)

I usually drink my coffee with 1% milk and a teaspoon of Splenda. I try to make it not as unhealthy as the coffees you can buy at Starbucks and such, but I really do not like the taste of black coffee. I've tried to become accustomed to it, but it is far too bitter for my tastes.

1% milk? So you hardly even taste the milk then? =) Well, for most people who have been accustomed to putting sugar in their coffee, balck coffee will be a tough cup to gulp down. =)

I wish I could drink coffee without the sugar - but I can't. I have to have sugar in it (I like the turbinado sugar, organic, no equal/splenda for me) and half and half to make it richer. Unfortunately that's where all the calories come in - but the taste is awesome as well. If I'm in a really funky mood I'll add some organic raspberry-flavored drops to it and it's just perfect- now I gotta go and get me some! :)

I brew very strong coffee, so strong that no one else dares to drink it. I have to have Splenda (a sugar substitute) in it with milk or a non-dairy creamer and a powdered creamer. Having the liquid and powdered versions in it makes it thicker and creamier. Coffee without sugar is the way I drank it when I was younger but now, I have to have something sweet with it.

Ahaha yeah. Most people cannot drink bitter beverages so they add sugar in it. But that 'bitterness' is what makes coffee.. err.. coffee. =)

Coffee really is an effective beverage to keep you awake for long hours. But in smoe people, the effect is the opposite (like in my case).

A lot of people I know drink coffee without sugar. I use to find it weird, because I always use 3 teaspoons of sugar in my coffee, until I got older. I have been drinking coffee for years, rumor that it can stunt your growth is the reason why, and I always used sugar. But years later and I am still drinking it and can't get enough of it. It's like I'm obsessed! Although, sometimes I use it without sugar, just sme creamer. Its good either way. I just LOVE coffee!!!

Have to drink my coffee with the sugar and have to have cream also, but it's the powdered creamer, has to be leaded not de caf (have my coffee like, I like my man hot sweet and white)LOL
