Strangely enough my mom named me after a character in a book she was reading when she was pregnant. She can't even remember the name of the book, but she said everytime she read the name she would stop and sigh because she thought it was so beautiful. (she's a little dramatic)

Mine is a flower.
but mom got my name when she was reading a comics and the name of the girl in the story is now my name. :)

my middle name Ann is passed down from my great-grandma to my grandma to my mom to me and when i have a daughter it will be her middle name. my son is named Jason Alexander. me and my husband didnt know it at the time but George from Sinfield, thats his name!!

My brother named me after one of his friends in the 1st grade. My brother, however, is named after Paul McCartney.

I think I am the only kid in the family that is named after no one. My one sister was named after my Aunt. Once sister was named after my grandmother and my brother was named after my dad. I don't know why that happened. I'm kinda glad I wasn't named after anyone.
