well i feel that whatecer happened with ganguly in the past was bad... well he is the most successul captain india had ever had.. well firstly they take his captainship away then they drop him from the team... and to add insult to injury they keep him away from the team for more than a year.. nobody really knows the true issue that took place between him and greg chappel ( if anybody knows do comment!! )... but a captain who has a winning record of that sort a captain who took his out of form team right upto the worldcup finals... i mean i agree it requires a team effort but leadership does count.. what say?
forget captainship but if u go through his records... u will find that he is a great all rounder to be had in the team... if he had done something wrong they could have taken away his captainship... or even may be drop him down the order or drop him from the team for a couple of matches if he is not in form... but doing somethin like that was very bad... comment??
well i would say after his comeback intothe team he should that he is a very good batsman in both theforms of games!!

ya..ganguly s the best captain for india till now..but due his lack of consistency,he was out of team for a long period..but he's back now and he's now in good form..

he is the person i feel can handle the team very well for the world cup or for that matter any other tournament or series.. he has got the temperament, the agression, and the best is that he has that fighting spirit in him... and he loves winning!!!

ganguly is successful as a captain.. also he is successful as a batsman. he has made several great records. but when captaincy gave more pressure on his shoulders he failed with his bat.
i agree with u that he should not have been removed from the team. they might have given him a chance to prove himself without captaincy

certainly. make him the captain for the world cup. otherwise we are doomed. neither rahul or sachin is a great captain. definitely not in the league of dada.

ok wat u say is absolutely right...but if u look at his performance before he was dropped out also needs to be counted..forget about 1995 matches on how played,he always used to come out as a cropper wid a very arrogant attitude n not forget his runout which caused a lot of problems for batsman on the other end....it was a gud lesson dada learnt after staying away for nearly 16months,yeah but u need to appreciate dada's for not resigning after staying away bearing so much of insult.
