i usually watch with my family or friends. i want to try watching alone, because sometimes, i get bored in my flat. but i haven't really watched alone, i am also quite scared because some people tend to sit beside you then you'll realize that you're mobile phone or your wallet's gone. so im still gathering courage to go out and have a date with myself at the theater. :-)

I love watching movies in the cinema but there are certain times I rather go alone. Well, it really depends on the company. I hate friends who talk to me in the middle of the movie, it simply distracts me and I hate people who answer their phone in the midst of the movie, though whispering, it's loud enough to fill up the whole room with their conversation.

I don't like going to the theaters. There is always too much talking, kids crying, cell phones going off. I'd rather catch the movie on cable at home.

Could go alone, though would not be alone with others in the theatre. It seems more appropriate to attend a movie alone since it is pretty solitary to watch a movie in the dark. Then you don't have to share the popcorn either. Of course if you end up having to go to the bathroom mid movie, you miss things that your friend could fill you in on.

I can go either way with this one. I have gone to many movies alone without a problem and I've gone with others and it isn't a problem either. I just don't like to be in crowded theaters so I don't go that often as a general rule. The one nice thing about going with someone else is then you can discuss the movie with them afterwards. When you see it alone if you try to discuss it with a friend they may not have seen it so it's hard to talk about it with them.

I've only gone to the movies alone maybe twice in my life. I usually like to go with my husband or occasionally my sister or a friend. There are a couple people I don't like to go with because I know they'll make comments or noise throughout the movie.

I used to go my myself all the time till I got married. I don't like it when people talk through the movie. To me, that is rude.

I like to go with my husband and my daughter, so we can spend time together. We don't talk during the movie, but it is very frustrating when others around you talk and you can't hear what is being said in the movie.
