Everyone ready for Survivor Season 14--Fiji Islands?

From what I understand there are two tribes. One lives in luxury and the other has nothing? There is an odd number because of the contestants left the night before the game started. Oh and they said there is going to be a BIG twist to the game and there are going to be two Immunity idols that have to be used before the vote is read instead of after like before.
I believe it is to start Feb 8

I can't wait for Survivor to start. That is my best show that I sit glued to the TV. I even chase my husband out of the room and tell him to go on the computer so it is nice and quiet when it is on. They were here in Vegas a few weeks ago looking for members for the next Survivor show after Fiji..
But this one will be awsome with the new twist in it again. I would like to know who thinks up all the things they have to do, and if any of the members wonder now what did I really get into this time LOL....

I bet a lot of them wonder what they got themselves into. I know I would. But I also know, I'm not cut out to be on the show so I would never dare try. My husband on the other hand would love to be on it!

Oh thank you for letting us know of the air date for the first episode! My entire family is survivor crazy! That new twist of having the immunity idol used BEFORE the votes are read is going to really throw a monkey wrench into the mix! It really doesn't seem like there have been 14 seasons!

No problem! I love the new twist. I'm anxious to see how people play each other knowing they have to use the idol before votes have been read. I'm anxious to see if they get forced to use the immunity idol. There will be 2 idols too.
I'm sorta ready for a new All Star Idol because I want to see more Ozzy ;)

I can't believe they're on their 14th season of Survivor! It seems like they just started last year or so. Anyways I'm excited to see it. This season should be pretty good seeing as therre are alot of twists coming up!

Yes the twists are one of my favorite part of the show. I'm glad they changed the way the idol had to be used. At first the hidden idol was ok but soon everyone was like oh you have the idol and they wouldn't vote for the person. This time you have to wonder if you are going to get voted out and chose to use it before the vote is read!

I know I was surprised to see another one start so soon. I think one always starts right after the Super Bowl--it used but this time it is a week later.
I know I'm anxious to see what they come up with too.

Every time I tell myself I'm not gonna get hooked up in this again, and every time I watch! I'm just glad that when they moved Grey's Anatomy to Thursdays, they put it at 9pm, so that I can watch Survivor first. I was sure that they were gonna be evil and put them up against each other.

Oh that is great that they aren't on at the same time. I was afraid that American Idol was going to interfere with a few of the programs I watched but so far so good.
Uhoh--My Name is Earl is on the same time as Survivor...hmm.

I am very excited to see Survivor Fiji. If they plan to air it on the 8th of Febraury then i will surely mark that on my calendar!

No problem. I saw the first commercial for it a few days ago and didn't realize a new one was starting already. I know they always start one around the Super Bowl and the next one starts around September.

I can't wait for it to start. It seems like there is nothing good on TV right now. I am anxious to see what they do differently this time. it seems like the cast is pretty diverse ethnically, although the majority of them are from California.

I can not wait. I really like the way they throw all kinds of crazy 'twists' in the mix too. And if they have to decide if they wanna use the idol before the votes are cast, that is going to be awesome. I bet the idol gets used, and quick that way. You know last season they had the chance to get the idol out so it would not be a deciding factor in the end, once it was known who had it? This should be a good season though, it always gets better.

i'm excited i can't wait. i was so into the first season and then missed a few and then got back into it. i love this show and big brother. anyway i can't beleive how many season's there are now. i remember last year i think they had one season end then the next one started a month later so i'm been going through withdrawalls cause it hasn't been on for a while.

I will be watching, but is it just me or does it seem every season they announce some 'big twist'? It seems to be almost standard vs. a surprise anymore. I wonder if they're going to eventually run out of twists they can do with the show, given how long it has been on!

Yes there are always some "big" twist. But I'm glad because it keeps me watching. I know at some point the show will have to end so they better have a terrible last show so it makes me not miss it...lol
