I like Scotland because my grandmother was Scotch. I attualy live in Italy, but I'd like to live there. In Italy the weather is sunny, warm and it's rain not much. But I love Scotland, her landscape, her castles, her peoples, her contryside. My heart is in Scotland... I hope to go there in a short time!

I have been in England and Ireland but not in Scotland. I would like to be there one day because I like the landscapes typical of Scotland. The only problem is that Scotland is very expensive

Almost 10 years ago I had a summerjob in Scotland and I stayed there for a couple of months. I had the chance to travel around a bit while I was there, and I think that Scotland is a very beautiful country. I have been to Aberdeen, Cults, Stonehaven, Perth, Edinburgh, Glascow etc, but I haven't seen the north of Scotland yet, so I hope to go back someday. I would also like to visit Edinburgh again and maybe some of the other beautiful places.

Scotland - Caravan Site in Scotland
I recently toured Scotland in a caravan and I had a really wonderful time. I've seen some castles and stayed in really old beautiful farm houses in the countryside. I think Scotland is one of the most beautiful places in the world and I would stay there permanently if I were you.

I really love scotland. I have some scotish ancestry on my paternal grandmother's side. And, when I was five, my dad decided to take a sabbatical year. My folks decided to move to Edinburg for a year. While we were there, we would often take trips and visit other places in scotland. It's a really beautiful place!

I love Scotland. By the way, your grandmother was a Scot! Scotch is a highly spirited drink!! We have visited Scotland regularly (at least 8 times) over the past decade. We went the first time for the golf, but we fell in love with the country and the people. We've just returned from 17 days in the Highlands and Islands. Talk about beauty!

It is so nice to hear such lovely comments about my home country. I was born and raised in Glasgow and moved to the USA a few years ago. I don't want to seem rude, but I must correct you on one thing that bothers most Scottish people - we are called Scots - NOT Scotch (Scotch is the drink, lol). It's one of those things that people tend to say so often and it is quite irksome. Like I said, no offense and thanks again for the lovely comments on Scotland. I hope you enjoy your trip whenever you go.

i like Scotland very much because of its history and landscapes and because of its music...and of its people...I went there only once...I have been to Edinburgh and I think it is a great city..and it was just like I imagined it...so smaller than London but so full of life and soul...I loved the fact that people I met were all very kind and friendly...Scottish accent is very particular too..sometimes is more difficult but nice to be listened to...I love tea and tasted Scottish tea, too and I find that is strong and tasteful...the only thing I don't like about Scotland is the weather..I am from Italy too and I cannot live without the sun I can have in Rome and I suffer very much from cold...this is why I wish I could go to Scotland again to see the Highlands..but I am sure going there on summer so to find at least a less cold, even rainy, weather!!!

I come from Scotland, I live in Galsgow and I must say I htink it is one of the most wonderful countries. It has so much history about it and you see how old it is. All the buildings, even in the city are fantastic, houses are 100 year old normally, weddings and special occassions are fantastic when we have the bagpipes and then all do cheildh (Scottish country dancing). The country side is wonderful because it is so hilly which means the landscape changes beofre your eyes. There is things like haunted hills, we have skiing, wow I oculd totally go on. I hope you do get to come here and enjoy it yourself.

I love Scotland, particularly Inverness. I went there years ago and we traveled through Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness. It was beautiful. My favourite site was Craigmullar Castle in Edinburgh. We were the only tourists there at the time, and that added to the whole feeling. Loved it!
