Whatever job or profession that helps or creates an impact on other people's lives is definitely worth respecting for me. It doesnt matter if you are a doctor, teacher, fireman, police, nurse or even just a garbage collector or street sweeper.. All of these and many others are all respectable jobs because they have a big impact on the society and other people. Kudos to all people who have this job!

I've been doing it and it has been a rewarding job for me until I fell into a depression, started taking anti depressants. Maybe I will go back to it someday.

I think that if you consider a stay at home mom a profession that I would say that they would be the most respected profession or job.
If you don't consider that a profession then I might have to go with a pastor as they are responsible for the spiritually welfare of so many people. They also are responsible for preaching the gospel to the lost.

Yes, I agree with you completely. There are also other noble profession, but teaching is more than just one.
The teachers are the tools of education to prepare our children to face the world. It is more than just learning some subjects in schools. It is the medium of exposing knowledge to them so that they will be mentally ready.

i would definitely agree with you. teaching is such a noble job. just can't imagine how they were able to manage a class of 30 or 40 or even 50 rowdy students who have different needs. how do they get to check all those papers and grade us every now and then. they are more like our second parents. i do salute my teachers for sharing to me a wonderful experience when i was still in school. who knows i might teach someday so i'd have my share of stories to tell everyone.

Doctors whom we trust with our lives and nurses who personally care for us like mothers are the ones who hold the most respected professions.
