do you have cable or sattelite or just plain old anttenna? I have plain old anttenna and it suits my family just fine, some times we cant decide what to watch. If nothing is on that night we watch a video or listen to music. I cant see paying for tv.

Oh the days of free tv are long gone for us. I remember when we lived on a hill and could get a couple channels with an anttenna but not here. We cant get a thing without cable or sattelite. We have dish network and we have the family pack that is $19. even that is expensive I think.

i have a paid cable connection. they charge us 4$ per month.
though we have plenty of channels at our disposal, frankly speaking its crazy as at the end of the day we watch nothing properly.
though i love the good olden days of antenna where we used to sit in front of the tv and perhaps enjoy wht was dished out.
now a days we surf over all channels only in dissatisfaction.
well anyway u ejoy wht u luv most

We have a dish. We would be paying even if we had the old antenna. Good old BBC! We pay for Sky and we pay for the BBC license. So it is a double whammy. In a few years time everything is going digital. So, if you just have an antenna, you won't be watching tv. They can't even guarentee that everyone will have a signal. So much for progress. Those that don't have a dish now, will have to either get one or get a freeview box. If we don't pay for cable tv/dish, then you only have 5 channels to watch. At least till 2009 when we go digital.

I fear I must pay for television. I live in the mountains and an antenna would give you nothing but snow. The TV stations are all very far away. The same goes for radio, i listen to internet radio. i call that pay cuz i pay for the cable connection that puts me on the internet to recieve the signal.

We have a cable that's being paid monthly. It is because of my son. He wants to watch cartoons. If only for me, regular tv program is ok. But I am thinking for others. And it is much more expensive if I buy tapes of cartoons.

I used to have pay tv until I made a query about my bill and found that I was overcharged on more than one occassion....so I had it disconnected! Then, I discovered internet tv! I paid a one-off fee of $29.95 us. & I can watch over 200 channels (more added every month) and I have it for the life of the downloaded program. I find that if I'm bored with free-to-air I can sit at my computer and flick through till I find something I'm interested in & I can still check out myLot & surf at the same time! I like the idea of being able to multi-task!
