Did BarBaro deserve this???

Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro was euthanized today after his breakdown from the Preakness last year. The reason for the euthanziation was due to he will live on with constant pain in his hind leg. I don't think he deserves to be euthanized even tho he might live with some pain. I would of consider the decision to retire the 4 year old colt and maybe ease his pain with moderate medication and let him live his life out. The Derby winner atleast deserves that much. How do u feel about the decision?

I think that is pretty standard behavior as far as horses go. It seems it they have something wrong with their legs then they get euthanized. I don't really know much about horses but I don't understand why having a problem with their leg is such a big deal. I realize he can't race anymore but why does that mean he can't live anymore. I think it is sad.

its ok he's moved on to a better place. a place where he doesn't get abused.
