Cat's life

Oh...it is so true. My cat is definitely spoiled. She is like a little princess around here. I sometimes think the same thing. She sleeps all day..usually on my pillow..and looks so comfortable. I wish I could have her life. She gets washed, brushed, groomed and even gets treats...geez... Then she gets her litter changed..and I clean up after her when she is ill...It is just like having another child...lol...

Well I have 8 outside cats and I wouldn't want to be them. They eat mice and actually pretty much anything they can find and I couldn't do that. Sure they sleep whenever they want and they don't have to work but they also eat discusting things and sleep out in the cold. Even though they do sleep in my dogs boxes with a bunch of straw in it. I also have a place under our trailor with straw for them but they prefer to sleep with my dogs. I have 4 dogs also and my husband just said yesterday he wished he was a dog because they have it so good but I told him not really because they are chained up all day and do the same things everyday. When I get the extra money I'm fencing our huge yard in so I can let all my dogs run loose because I wouldn't want to be chained up all day and I hate that they have to be. :)

I don't have a cat because I don't like them so much but if I would be a cat and have a great family to take care of them then I would be living the charmed life. It wouldn't be cool to be an alley cat though, wouldn't want to be sneaking around houses to steal food and get hit and ran after all the time.

Oh, most definitely! They get their breakfast first thing in the morning and all of my attention. Recently, my Columbus decided to be a lap cat and jumps on my lap everytime I watch TV. But I have to admit that I envy my cats. For example, when the bills come in and there's almost no money to pay them, or when the cats vomit or crap, I have to clean the mess, they don't. But I love my cats and wouldn't have it any other way.

Who wouldn't want that nice life. And yes, my three cats are a bit spoiled.

My cat is very spoiled! He is an indoor cat (22 pounds of orange striped fur). He "talks", and sleeps 18 hours a day. But when he's awake he likes to chase the (60 lb.) dog for fun. They both sleep on the bed when I sleep. The cat loves to sunbathe on the back of the couch (and sleep). He "asks" for treats, has a continual source of food and water in his dishes, sleeps on the furniture, or wherever he likes and has no stress in his life. I would love to trade places with him. What a life!!!

Well my cats are all spoilt - and I guess I wouldn't mind changing places with any of them - but sadly there are so many unloved, unwanted, and ill-treated cats in this world - so I don't care aout spoiling mine because they were all resuce cases and I am trying to make up for their bad start in life!! l

umm.. no thanks.. i like being a human being.. there's so many things we have it good! :) you just overlooked it somehow. :) can u switch the channels with your paw if you're a cat? :) can you type this at mylot if you were a cat? can you wear your favorite signature clothes if you were a cat? :) na-ah! don't think so.. :)

Nope, i just loved watching and playing with them. we had a cat once, and she's gone for a long time now. i did not think of switching places with him because i don't want to be played. like most of us do to them. i just loved the fact that she's there and the family loved her. you? ever thought what your cat is thinking right now? meeeoooowwww!!! lol!

I would love to live my cats life with all their needs taken care of, no worries, no headaches. They are definitely catered to. Yes, my cats are all spoiled in some way.

I think we treat our own cats how we would personally like to be treated. So they bring out our inner desires and needs. We spoil our cats because thats how we would like to be. served, fed, loved, cool toys, cute beds, pampered. I still like being me though. I get to do things my cat doesnt. in fact, theres a good saying that goes..."I'd rather feel pain than feel nothing at all" and it reminds me that even though cats have a pampered and spoiled life, I like being able to make mistakes and accomplishments in life. Thats being human, and cats' jobs are allowing us to spoil them. :)

I sometimes think it would be great to be a cat too. They eat and sleep whenever they want, they get to play all day, no work, and everybody thinks they're cute! :) I don't think I would actually want to be a cat though...eventually, it would get boring.

I would love to be your cat, as long as you fed me vegan food I would be very happy.

I guess I wouldn't want to trade places, but if I couldn't be a person, I'd definitely want to be a cat. There is just no stress in their lives. They're pampered and petted, and like you said, spend their lives eating food they didn't have to earn and sleeping any time they want. Mine are sooooo spoiled. But they're so cute that it's fun to spoil them!

My dog is spoiled more. My dog has got a ton of toys, 5 different bags of food, 5 different boxes of treats and tons of blankets and other goodies. But your right the cats life would be one to live.

Yes my cats are spoiled. But I wouldn't want to be one. That litter box thing doesn't sound like fun. Nor, does being "fixed" by some vet. The sleep thing is tempting though.

My cat is definately as spoiled as yours is. It scratches to get into the bedroom at night. Scratches to get out. We leave the door closed because we have another cat who eats the furniture. It meows in the middle of the night to be fed and you have to get up. When you lay on the couch, it shares half of it with you every time. Lays in the middle of the halls so you step on it and fall. Basically it meows all of the time to be petted!

I would love to be cat. laze around with nothing to do.. no one telling u to do this or to do that. eat and sleep whenever i want. do silly things and get commented with "oh how cute"..get petted all the time.. get praises all the time.. oh what a wonderful world it would be.. but got to get back to reality..meowwww

I think that working and studying keeps me alive. I would die if I would have to sleep all days.
