i think for warmth, as we for some reason we decided to get rid of all our fur it causes problems in the winter. When? well the story goes that we started out in Africa, but as that dried up and became more and more of a desert we started to spread out, as we went further north there was more food and water but also colder winters, it was probably at this time that we decided to wear clothes

I suppose we have started wearing clothes since the beginning of human kind on earth. When Adam the first prophet was sent to earth, he did not wear anything. But because he felt ashamed of revealing all his skin, he made an effort to cover himself using leaves and woods. That's the beginning of clothing revolution. Until now, we still wear clothes because it symbolize our dignity. Without it, we are just the same as other animals.

We wear clothes to cover our body. we wear clothes to protect our self. we wear clothes to look like a civilized person. we wear clothes to follw the fashion of the era. we wear cloth to idntify our self. we wear cloth as it is usefull. we wear clothes as we are better than animals and beasts. we started to wear the skin of animals we used to hunt in the age of stone. It was pre historic era. we also used to cover espacial parts of our body with leaves and grass in the start. We had felt its need in very past of prehistoric age and this made us civised and now we following the fashion to prepare and wear our clothes.

In Christianity - man and woman were naked until they ate from the tree of knowledge in the Garden of Eden. At that point they realized they were naked and covered themselves.

The Bible says that when Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden fruit, they realized they were naked and they were ashamed. Heck I would be too. I imagine that's when Eve realized she had cellulite and Adam noticed he had a really big rear!

The Holy Bible tells us that Adam and Eve was necked and did not know it. When Eve and Adam took of the forbidden fruit, they realised they was necked and ashamed. God took animal skin and clothed them.

going back to creation days when God made Adam and Eve, they both were naked, nothing to hide. Only upon their fall, when they ate the fruit that God punished them. "And their eyes were opened, and found themselves naked. they were ashamed..so they got something (like leaves) to cover their naked bodies...and there where it all started...Got me?

Ever since adam donned the first fig leaf we have been wearing clothes, but you would have to ask him why he did it. Good luck on that, let me know what you find out.

The idea of wearing clothes began when adam and eve left paradise -- after eve ate the apple. This was so because Adam and Eve became aware and had malice in their thoughts after they committed the sin. Anyways, this was according to the bible.
But I think, wearing clothes has been a human way of adapting to the change of the environment, practically, speaking when one gets cold he/she would find a way to keep her from being cold. :)

I think we wore clothing when we first realized that we were not wearing any. I don't know when it started exactly, but it sounds like it was billion years ago.
