You aren't high enough yet. You don't get a rating until you have over 100 posts. Then if you use IE you can hover your cursor over your star. A friend of mine couldn't figure out hwo people knew what their numbers were, then she realized that she needed IE b/c the feature doesn't work in firefox.

okay i tried what you said and it doesn't seem to be working ... how do i get IE? and what is that anyways?

Your rating points are the number beside your user name, they are the number of threads you have posted either your answers to threads and or your oown threads. Also the stars that appear above you user name will be your rating as per impression of the other members about you but that only appears if you have one hundred or more rating points. greetings. : )

The rating star is given after you reach 100 posts. The number by your name in parenthesis is the number of post you have made in others discussions. You don't get points for starting discussions or commenting on those that reply to your discussions. You should still do those things though, as they will count toward your overall earnings. Just make sure you read the guidelines and the FAQ's, that should help clear up what is acceptable and what isn't here at myLot. Welcome and I hope you love it here.
