Maybe taught a kid ABC? Or maybe taught an elderly how to use the computer? What is that thing that you took initiative to teach someone about that made you feel really proud of yourself for doing so?

I have taught 5 persons, the international documentation. i.e. teaching them how to make imports/exports without hassels. All five of them are well settled, and when I compare their present condition with their past one, it makes me proud. Afterall the purpose of education is to educate others. Thanks for giving this opportunity.

We have homeschooled our children. We started doing this, since our dandicapped child was being beat up and mistreated at school. My wife used to be a public schoolteacher and has a masters degree.

I taught my parents how do to some certain things on the computer, and I often remind my dad how to spell things xD But I often have to teach them again because they forget. I taught my friend how to do some things, like edit photos/blend pictures using Adobe Photoshop, but she never thanked me using those words. Although I've always liked helping people, for some reason I feel a little 'regret' when I am not even given a 'thank you' because somehow it's always a little rewarding and nice to keep that little thing in mind after you've taught someone something. Oh well, I guess it's just some unknown weird reason I feel that xD I don't think I can think of or have done any big things that I've taught to people, but little things, like how to do something on the net or some basic pointers/tips to a wide skill. When comes time, I do always try to help others with what I know in a subject, I guess that's the least I can do, sorta.

Well yeah, it is nice to feel appreciation from them once in a while. And yeah I have also taught my parents to use the computer and the cellphone, and it was hard cause they forget that easy but then as I look at them now, I feel good that they are now able to use the computer on their own..

I think the thing that made me really proud was the day my daughter learned how to tie her shoes after working with her for a few weeks.

what made me feel best in my life was helping newcomers in our tai ji class...they would always lack confidence, be shy and feel crap about themselves..now i am a bit of a clutz lol so when i used to make them cup of tea and show them that i was more clumsy than they could ever be..it made me feel useful to prop their confidence up a bit..
