Jimmy Carter was responsible for bringing into power an Iranian Islmaic regime that's now in the stages of creating nuclear weapons to wipe out Israel and blackmail America and Europe. Iran's goverment has also provided weapons and support to Shiite militia death squads in Iraq and al-Qaida, with which it has a working relationship.
During the Carter administration, the Soviets invaded Afghanistan and the war attracted a young Osma bin Laden, who raised money and recruits other muslims to fight againts the Soviets. After the Soviets leave, this band of Islamist becomes al-Qaida. Do you believe under George W. Bush's watch the Soviets would have invaded Afghanistan?
Carter's weakness in dealing with the communist and Iran leads directly to the birth of al-Qaida, the rising threat of a nuclear Iran, and the insurgency that is going on in Iraq right now.
I would love to hear about your opinion on this matter? I feel that the former president's liberal policies and actions are directly involved with what is going on in today's war on terror....

ProAmerica obviously you are under the conservative point of view as well as a republican. To be so naive to think the world is black and white like you do once again. If you look at things in Iran and what caused it to become the "radical" state that it is today it goes alot farther back than Carter. At one point Iran was moving toward a free and democratic society and the CIA reinstalled a dictator (shaw of Iran). As far as Osama he was also an employee of the CIA. As far as us having to take Iran out because they are building nuclear technology ... lets not forget about north korea who not only has the bomb but is working on ICBM program. You seem to be very blind to the fact that we have constantly handed out weapons and training to all those different factions over the past 60 years for the fear of communism. Should we now go back and give the communist weapons to fight radical Islamics? Even Saddam was brought to power with the help of CIA and was armed with chemical weapons that he used against his own people.

I would like to refer you to this article and these words
http://millennium_cowboy.homestead.com/WorldGoneAway.html...
and this stood out when I read it
You cannot negotiate with Evil.
You cannot compromise, with pure Evil, because every 'compromise' is hailed as a "victory for our side" and, the foundation on which to base the next set of demands, for further compromise.
We can only launch the attack and hope (pray) that we, or simply, good prevails

Ok got it to open I had to knock off the two periods you had at the end. Ok so you think I am a crazy liberal for pointing out most of the people we are at war with now we have supplied weapons and training to but you quote some guy who follows the teachings of Nostradamus??? umm ok, and you think this is a good arguement?
