Does the rating change?

yes the ratings given by mylot change.If you get positive rating it increases and if you get negative it decreases.the rating is between 0-9.Mine is always the same it never changed.

yes, the ratings depend on the quality and NOT on the quantity. well quantity matters but not at the cost of quality. so, here in myLot, respond to good appealing discussions, reply in more than 3-4 sentences with more adjectives, good syntax and correct spellings. respond to your friends' discussions and inspire them to answer back to yours. make sure to rate and comment to the posts to your discussions. this is a nice place to be in, good luck

My rating haven't changed since I had it. It never went up or down. I hope I can have it at ten but I guess I'm still happy with nine. Quality post do really count and of course the rating other users give would also affect your star rating. A post of more than one sentence is good and of course, it has to be relevant to the topic.

Hi, yes anwesha,the rating does change.On completing my one hundreth post I got the rating of 7.Acouple days later it was 8.I continued starting discussions and responding to others' discussions.I also kept replying to the response I got for my discussions.After a month the my rating rose to 9. You keep up the good work and soon you'll see your rating improve even more. Yes,I have seen a few people's rating decrease too.

Yes the rating given to us by mylot do change, the changes is mainly based on the positive or negative ratings given to us by fellow users. Thats why it is important to post and respond quality discussions, hence a quality discussions have a higher chance to be rated positively thereby increasing your rating, if you were always given negative ratings by users your star rating is more likely to decrease. Best responses is also one of the factor that could increase our star rating.

Yes you are exactly right. It is also based on the ratings you get from other users. I'm giving you a positive rating and hopefully that will help you out. Also if you rate others as the best answer that also helps your rating. And last but not least be sure to respond back to people who respond to your discussions. Use these and your rating will increase. PS be nice to people so they don't give you a negative rating and make all of your post more than 4 lines long.

Yes your rating gets changed many time. The calculation of the rating is based on the rating which you get from other members, by your respond and topics and therefore your topics should always be of good quality to get better rating.
