Tips On How To Get Maximum Referrals ; My Obesrvations .

Hi friends, I have noticed that one of the best ways to earn here is by getting more and more referrals. I have noticed that most of the users, which includes top posters too, are not earning much through referrals. The reson i think is beacause, most of the users dont know who to make referrals. So, i thought , it would be good, if we can share mutual experiences on how to get referrals. Here is mine :
I have started making referrals about three days ago and i have 10 referrals right now. Here are a few tips for anyone who is intrested about how to go for it :
* Make a Post - This post should be short and to the point. I have noticed that i dont like reading long adds, so for me the shorter the better. So make a short and descripitive post, which tell about how one can earn money, by haveing fun and making friends here on Mylot.
DONT FORGET TO ADD YOUR REFERRAL LINK AT THE END.
* Where to Post ? - Now that you have made a post, I would advice you to post it on popular websites like Orkut, Myspace etc.
Important point to remeber here is its better to post in a personal scarp of the traget user rather than posting in a community front page (in Orkut). Simple becasue, in that way your post will have a longer life.
Just copy the 'add post with ur link'
as paste in in the persoal scrap of the target user.
* Who the TAGET USER - I have observed that most of people here are either housewives or young students looking for pocket money. So try to select these profiles and then post your add in their profiles.
Apart from this, always try to introduce the known friends and family people to Mylot. DONT FORCE ANYONE. Just present the facts honeslty and let them decide, if they want to join or not.
Some Other obesrvations :
* I have seen that most of the referrals are not active, they just register and forget. I think out of 10 only 3 of mine are active. So keep that in mind and DONT BE DISHEARTED BY THIS FACT . Thats the rough ratio for you - around 30% of your referrals are going to be active.
* Try to motivate the unactive user. Best way is to let them know your earnings. As i said earlier , NO NEED TO FORCE ANYONE, as soon, you would find yourself helpless ! The one who dont want to contribute ; just let them know that you have earned and move on...
Lastly keep the faith ! The best way to look at it - 'Who knows some fine day, one of your old referrals might just login and soon be addicted to Mylot and you can have a share in his good earnings. I think even if 1 out of 10 become a sincere contributor, then, thats serves the purpose, as his earnings are going to be for the long term run, so DONT LOOSE FAITH :)

You have done good work here but you must know that to invite family and friends is good but an very,very old system, we all should create a new system of making referrals. I send e-mails, post on sites,make fliers and put them to p.o.b.If you have some ather wayes I'll happy to get.

Well, why i sugested family and freinds is because they are best to start with as they are your known ones . Family is reliable any time. And friends are the ones wh share the same intrest as you , thats why they are friends , arent they ? So there is good chance that most of them share and ike this concept of earning on net :)
I dont think , we should CREATE A NEW system. I would like to go with the traditional and tried and tested ways :)

Thats what i have also observed. People here are neglecting the importance of referrals, but they are forgetting theat once you make a good one, he can earn you 25% of his sharings, that too in FOR A LONG RUN !

I have 2 referrals and a possible third on its way. I have just shared my success with a couple of site and my family and co workers. The more success I share the more will be willing to take the chance. I am please with the first one to join and my second has family trials right now, I am confident she will be a contributer soon! The last one at this time is interested in joining and it is a matter of time. Not sure about the level of participation though. That one will have to work itself out.

As i see it, you are going very good. You are aiming at quality referrals and i am sure they are gona serve you in the long run. I agree that best way to get them is by showing that you are actually earning here.

your tip was great I do alot of emailing and first by telling my families and friends that goes a little faster cus if you tell a friend the friend will also spread the new and your downline will grow

I agree with you. As i have said earlier, friends are the ones that ientify with your thoughts, so there is a good chance that a lot of friends think like you and are intrested in online earnings.

Yeah, i saw quite a few people saying that they either have no referrals or they are not of much help. Ths includes some senior members too. So i felt like sharing my experience , as i see a few good referrals are a source of some easy and long term extra income .

Yes its true i also have two referrals, no doubt they had joined under me but they are inactive as they have made zero posts till now. Its is really difficult to get active refferal. Thanks for your information.

That is good advise, but I think that you are off on the average number of referrals that will stay active. I have about 100 and maybe 10 of these are active. It is really discouraging because it is not always easy to get referrals. A problem that I have noticed is that my referrals wil start off really well, but then not be interested any longer after a month or so.

As i said my firend, its just a rough calucultion that i did. It might vary. I tink at the end of the day, referrals are all about luck, the best chance is HOPE - as i siad , who knows one find day one of them might just give a vist to the site and gets addicted !

This is a great discussion. I totaly agree with what you said about long posts. I don't like either to read a long post, and I rather to read when it's short and to the point.
I think that I will make a new post with my refferal link in it, and then publish it in MySpace.

having referrals is simply the marketing funda that you need to execute !! first checkout the guys/gals who are very active in the forums... with a bit of personal touch tell them the idea and positive aspects of this forum and then send your referral link to them !!
In 5 days i have 12 referrals...and i used the orkut to its best extend to this !!

You could try to convince those that are just starting to resign and start again under you to make a downline. That's harder than it seems though. I don't know why no one wouldn't want to but hey. We all get lose I guess. If you really think about it is worht it in the end. It is not against the rules either.

In fact, when i joined some days back, i got an mail from someone, who asked me t to rejoin under his referral so that we can work together from thereon. I dont think its a good idea . I ultimately its the self motivation that can get you going. If you dont have it within, outer boosters wont be able to help you much - thats my personel opinion.
Also i doubt that one not so fine day, MYlot may descover i have multiple IDs and might just suspened both of my acounts ! I think we cant have duplicate IDs.. eh ? Not sure about it though.. you have any ideas ?
