why there is no technical discussions in MYLOT

I found a lot of discussions on general topics, very meagre in the technical side.Is it that no techies involve in MYLOT activities.Why not we start a technical discussion in MYLOT.Its not related to only specific technical topic, it can be interior designing, civil, software, mechanical, electronics, electro mechanical,bio technology etc...
I'm a person with a mechanical background working in software.So as techie I would like to meet more techies in mylot.

Hey thanks for nice topic mine also a system engineer in wipro. As my opinion why there is no technical topics in mylot because. all most are user's are house wife. and home worker's. there is very less like us. hence they are not aware on techniques. they know only food items, family background, all are general discussions, let us start a new topics now an words. good keep it up.

are you sure that mylot is having a lot of housewives who puts on some silly discussions.. and make a huge number of posts.

YOu say the truth, there are a little of topic about technical.
As you know, most of people here don'e a few things about it, so the result is few topic discuss it.
Another side, if you want to get more response, don't post anything about it, because no people know it, will have nothing to say, so you cannot get response. then make less money.
The best way to earn money is to post more topic about life that most people want to talk about.

Well, not everyone can be as technical as you want them to be. So, I guess you just got to work with what you got.
