Oh so you met online! I'm one who would be too afraid to do that. But obviously it happens and works out for alot of people! Thanks.

Yes mine is and I think that it should be that way. It is good to have other friends as well, but your husband/wife is supposed to be your life long partner and who else to spend your life with but someone that is not just your spouse, but your best friend too

Yes...I feel the same way. We actually spend most of our time together. I really don't have many friends ...so he is my friend. I think sometimes he feels like we need to spend time apart...but I don't really feel that way. I guess that is where we differ...

No doubts that my husband is my best friend and i talk my heart out to him. He listens patiently to all i have to say and then gives me suggestions on what i should do. He himself to believes me as his best friend and discusses with me all his thoughts.

I feel the same. My husband is definately my best friend. He is the only one that I truely believe will not tell something that I say to keep quiet about. He understands my ways. Alot of people misunderstand me. He gets me.
He is the only person who has always been there and never made me feel like he was because he thought he had to be. I can tell he's there for me because it's what he WANTS to do. He never holds my down times or bad moments against me.
Yes, my husband is my best friend.

I totally feel like that towards my husband. He is the only one I know for a long time and I don't have alot of my good friends near me anymore. So, my husband has become my bestfriend. I feel very close to him and I just don't know what to do without him.

Beyond the shadow of a doubt. Not to sound cliche, but he is truly my soulmate. We actually are so close that we finish each other's sentences and often will go to speak and the same thing comes from each of our mouths. He seems to know just what I need and when. He can sense when I need to be close and comforted and when I need to be alone to just think. There are times I am at work and am thinking of him and he will call! It really is amazing how close we are. All my friends, coworkers and family are always talking about what a great relationship he and I have. I am truly blessed!

I love my husband very much, or he wouldn't be my husband. However, he isn't my best friend. That's kind of a separate role for me. I need more than one close support in my life. For that matter, I'm not his best friend either.
Maybe we're just strange, but that's how we work. =p

Well thankyou for responding. I don't think that's strange at all. Everyone doesn't have to be best friends with their spouses, sometimes it might be better for some people that way:)

my husband and i starts in a simple dare. I dare him to go t our dormitory without thinking that he will atke my dare seriously. so as the time passes by, we fall for each other and now we're married still recalling the simple dare where we start. So I think that my husband is more thatn just my bestfriend. for he is everything to me. All him are mine and all mine are him.

Yes I feel my husband is my best friend. I love to come home and tell him about my day. I go to him when I have something on my mind. I tell him things that I don't tell anyone else. He is always there for me. More than a best friend, we are one.

Yes. My husband is my very best friend. We work at home and homeschool our girls so we spend A LOT of time together. Now, sometimes I need my own "alone time" because I am an introvert and that is what "fills my cup" so I can go back out and give myself to my family, but my "me time" is usually about every other week when my girls go to my mom's house for the weekend. I get "me time" while he is sleeping in on Saturday morning :) We have a great time together.
