I didn't know Valentines Day was such a universal holiday... I always just figured it was an American Hallmark Holiday that was just created to spend money!!!I didn't know it was celebrated in so many countries!!
Does your country celebrate Valentines Day??? Where do you live??

I have no problem not celebrating Valentines Day as I feel I do not need to put aside a day to show my g/f that she means so much to me.
She,however,DOES like to celebrate it so by proxy,I have to vote to celebrate.
Besides,it appears to be just as important in Canada as there.

Here in the Philippines, Vday is SO celebrated. Expect terrible traffic jams especially at night when couples are all out on a date! The malls also have valentine decor and a valentine sale! Some say vday is a marketing ploy--partly true, yes--but I still feel there's magic during this day :) At least love gets the spotlight once a year :)

Every holiday is special to the Filipinos. It's our culture to celebrate a holiday every month. We have an event here, i think it was international what i mean is the LOVAPALOOOZA. It was sponsored by Close up. I think everybody is familiar with that.
