I haven't posted very many discussions, but I always try to respond to my friends discussions. Unfotunately, there are a few times, when I do not have an answer. I have found that one friend keeps posting discussions and she does comment after the responses, but she never marks a best response. I have another friend who just keeps posting in order to mention his website and encourage traffic. Every one of his discussions mentions his website, and I don't think this should be allowed. If I had a friend like yours, who didn't respond to my discussions, and you must surely have posted a few, that he could answer, I would just delete him. He is not doing you any favours.

I too have encountered people who seem to put out many discussions and never comment on the responses that are left. I no longer respond to the discussions.

YES!!!! It has been happening a lot lately! I don't want to complain too much because this means that there are plenty of new discussions. But at the same time, creating like 30 discussions a day is just insane! Because these people are my friends, I do not want to avoid them...but it also makes me neglect my other friends.
Then I also realize that even though I respond to 99% of their discussions, I will get a response in only one of mine from some of these people! What gives??? I sit here and answer theirs! And it is not as if I create a bunch of discussions. Maybe 3 a week! (I don't post just anything...I like it to be original and personal.)
So, I have been considering turning off some of my notifiers.

Well to me, I only respond to my friends. It's Ok if they would not respond my discussions. Anyway, I am here trying to respond as much as I can in a day. I have selected friends that I like to respond. Some of them aren't responding mine, but I just like them. I don't blame them because I can see some of them aren't online everyday. I just like the person that's why I am responding to theirs.

I have lots of friends who never respond to my discussions. I always try to make responses to my friend's discussion as long as I have something to put in to it. But some of my friends start lots of discussions about kid and pet, when I get it tough to respond. Because neither I am a parent nor I have a pet. I hope they understand that I can't relate to everything they start as a discussion.
I have more then 200 friends, but only 10 to 15 frequently visit my discussions. So, I am going to clean my list.

I would think they would understand that you will not respond to something that you do not have an input for, just to be babbling. I like to think that my friends might pick one of my discussions out of about ten that they like. I try to have a variety.

I have a few that will respond to mine after I have responded to theirs but a few that doesn't do anything or even respond so I am bad for deleting some that i have added that doesn't do anything. I also have 7 referals that doesn't do anything.

Send your referrals the notices that you have gotten paid, that might help, or if you know them personally send them links that might interest them.

Good attitude, not to be a bean counter. This other thing, though, sometimes goes over the top. I have tried to make allowances for linguistics, but much of what I learn about this perosn the more I know that they are just trying to spin straw into gold.

Ok this is my final attempt...I have tried to respond to this discussion 2 other times..when you first posted it and my computer was going nuts and I kept getting the white page thing... and again I was getting it today. But here goes...hehe
I have way too many friends to respond to them all. I don't know why, I guess at first I just said yes to everyone. But the majority of people on my friends list don't respond to my discussions or thier own for that matter. I just leave them there in case they post something I want to respond to. But then their are friends like yourself that I always try to respond to as you do me. I still haven't figured out who it is, but I have a few like that on my list. (ok here goes*fingers crossed*)

I am not sure who you are talking about but I try to comment on my friends discussions. I also post discussions as often as I can.
Not even 50% of my friends respond to my discussions though. I just keep on doing what I have been doing and maybe they will start commenting soon. I have been sick alot lately so I am late on commenting but I hope to catch up next week.

No, it is not you, by any means. I enjoy and understand your discussions and yummy recipes. Sorry you have been sick. There is a lot of that going around.

I haven't spent a lot of time on myLot in the last couple of weeks, but when I do get here, I usually check to see what my friends have posted and look for a discussion that is of interest to me. Often, I see things topics that interest me, but I don't really feel that I can contribute anything meaningful to. So, I end up spending 15 minutes reading everyone else's responses and then I don't post because I can't think of anything better to write than, "Hmmm, very interesting," lol.
Your discussions are usually quite interesting.

Thanks, I have been missing you around. I am kind of like you, if I have nothing new to add, I go elsewhere. When I want to work fairly quickly, I go through my e-mail, then I see the newest discussions from my friends. If I run out of stuff there, I go to new users, to keep them encouraged or no responses, to see if I can move things along from that field.

Not sure who you are referring to, but I have a few like that. If they get too crazy, I hit notify off. It would be nice to have them respond instead of just posting so many discussions.

I have observed that with one person. It seems like it is a pasted statement. In fact, they don't even ask a question. Is that who you are talking about? I don't ever have comments from this person either.

I have noticed that, also. If it is the same person that you noticed, his name starts with an M. Have you noticed the same? If I was willing to go back and check all the discussions that I have started, I would be willing to bet that he has NEVER RESPONDED to even one of mine, and I have him listed as a friend. I'm getting very tired of it.

He actually don't, so I decided to delete him from my list. I'm getting tired of deleting his discussions on my e-mail and pissed off by his ways of flooding discussions with senseless topics. I think this should be a lesson to all of us, and take pre-cautions on adding friends.
By the way, he's the main reason why I posted a topic about genders!;) Still he didn't even responded, so I think he's bi. LoL

More than one person. I just deleted one who posted and posted at one time four separate discussion which were all about the same topic just asking diferent advices. One discussion would be enough. Never answered mine so to me not much of a friend
