There are many chinese people here in Australia but I have found they are very quiet and tend to stay in their own space, I have only known a couple in my life time and they were lovely people, my opinion is they are gentle souls...

Chinese people love their own families, and love their own work even better.

I see Chinese people as being very friendly, calm and placid, I feel comfortable around Chinese people and I think you are a great nation, I also love chinese food, and have had chinese friends in the past, you are very loyal and chinese girls are very pretty. The manager of the chinese restaurant where we go to regularly is very friendly and even calls us by our first names he always remembers us and is so welcoming.

I use to have some filipino-chinese co-employees before that we are close to each other but not too much... I mean at the job, they are very helpful and attentive to fellow workers. Should I say they are approachable and easy to deal with.

Unfortunately I know no Chinese people. In truth there are two Chinese children in the class of my little son, but they are very reserved, so it's difficult to start a relation with them. I hope that in future, when they will know better, they will become friends, I'd like to have them in my house palying with my son.
So, I don't know you, but I have the impression that you are hard workers. I'm interested in Chinese astrology, it's really interesting.

I'm studing chinese beacuse I love so much the Chinese cultur and my both teachers are chinese.Unfortunatly they are only the 2 chinese people that I know. They are very kindly people, although they 're reserved a lot.I think this a trait of chinese people that it's different from the very sociable behaviour of the italian people. With this I don't want to say the chinese are not sociable,I know only 2 people, but I've relaized this charateristic also when I go to chinese restaurant.

I am from the Philippines and there are so many Chinese here and they are already in the mainstream of the society. As successful businessmen, they are commanding power over the economy of the nation. Chinese are generally known to be hardworking, entrepreneurial, frugal and supportive of their clan.
It is unfortunate that I was not born as a Chinese -- i could have been a businessman right now.
Are you in China right now? Please invite me as a friend...

Every body has quiet Chinese friends! Mine are not quiet at all! They are extremely playful and mischievous but their humour can be understated and it is easy to miss their jokes. What I have seen is that Chinese students love to tease their teachers and of course, not all teachers find that fun. And they are witty too. They love to play on words. Great company - never boring.
