No, I would never let a robot drive or park my vehicle. This seems really dangerous to me and I think it would be very difficult as well as expensive for the parking lot to get general liability insurance coverage since they would be held liable for any damage to vehicles since it would be the robot's fault.

It would be interesting to see how the robot actually works.

I hope they will have videos or news reports where we can check that all out. It would be interesting to see. You would know what to expect if you are considering this.

From what you are describing here, I would definitely not be ready to trust a car of mine (although I don't yet drive *laugh*) to a robot. If cars in the one other robotic parking lot are getting dropped and trapped, my goodness, I don't understand why they are bothering to open yet another robotic parking lot until they get some of the flaws worked out! *laugh* I hope that this second lot will have much improved technology. But I will definitely be steering clear of it, or rather my family will, if it is anywhere near us! *laugh* It just doesn't sound very safe.

I was hearing about this on the news this morning. I think NO I would not trust my car to one of these yet. I hear that they are more perfected in japan than here in the US so far.
I will hold my opinion until more conclusive results are turned in.

they should consult with Japan on what went wrong and then find out to improve. Its crazy to open this without things being perfected.....but they want the money...

Oh,I've never heard of that before. I'll have to try to find some more info on it. I think that's weird. I don't think I would be leaving my car there anytime soon.

This is scary! I dont think I want a robot in my car at all. There is no way to guarantee that they will not malfunction.
