The real question is why are you using MSN Messenger?
Y! Messenger rules!!!!!!!!!!! But there is a work around for this . Rub invisible cream all over your entire body. If you wish to keep your clothes on. You are going to need several gallons of invisible cream and everyone knows that stuff is expensive. So take the clothes off after that you will be invisible even if you change your status to online and you can msg friends...J/K..

MSN Messenger is my least favourite chat program - but because a lot of my friends use it and only it ... i've had to use it daily or i'll lose contact with them.
Truth be told I really only use trillian so i don't use the actual chat clients.

I would use an "invisible" status feature all the time if msn had it! Right now I use Trillian, which lets me appear invisible on all of the IM services.

YESSSSSSSSS!!!! Would i ever love MSN to get an invisible status feature as the main reason why i prefer to use yahoo over msn is because of this. Sometimes i like to keep a low profile while i am online in case i am busy with other things besides chatting.

Yeah, i guess msn messender should have an invisible status. that way you can still chat to other people, and don't have to worry about certain other people sending you messages while you are busy.

MSN is the only IM I use now and I just put myself on "off line" unless I want to chat with someone. I have one "guy" that everytime I logon he instintly IMs me - I don't even have time to open my mail box which is most important to me. I would love to be able to sign onto MSN invisible!

oh I HATE people like that ... I used to have one guy I was forever avoiding and I would have only been signed in for 10 seconds and i'd have a message from him already!!
I guess you could always put them on block ... unless you are like me and feel too mean about doing that!
