All the people who were saying that Sachin has no more cricket left in him should be ashamed.
Sachin has made his 41st Century and remained unbeaten and has been declared the Man of the Match of the India/West Indies 4th ODI.

yeah but look at the records of ponting ,lara and jayasuriya and also chris gayle ,its not the century that matters ,performing with bat matters and also consistency ,his latest century came after almost two year, i think in that time even a player not as talented as tendulkar can score a couple of hundreds, please dont count the century ,count the wins he got from that particular knock

i think its time to check records again ... sachin missed 4 test matches and 11 ODI's in 2006 ... in last 16 matches he has scored 2 centuries and 2 fifties ....
also if he is hitting a century it counts to team as well ... Sharjah sachin hit 2 consecutive centuries against Australia one lost by a close margin, one won both were less than run a ball... did you see the fight against Fleming and Kaspro ...
out of his 41 centuries he has won India 29 times, and 1 was No result because of rain ... that is 73% of his centuries have made us win ...
its unfair no doubt
if he hits century and we lose we say his centuries are not worth it ... if he does not hit a century and we lose ... we say he is not playing to his standards ...
what do we actually want of him ... he has dedicated his entire life to Indian team and still he gets to listen these critics ...
29 wins 41 centuries also includes when some elite members of our unpredictable indian team were involved in match fixing scam ... he hits a century in 84 balls and other match fixers waste the number of balls and make the match lose .... WHAT WE SAY for this .... HIS CENTURY IS USELESS????
In 2006 India played 30 ODI's and sachin only played 16 of them
He did not play first 2 Test against Australia, India lost...third he played he made a century ... India WON
On 10th DECEMBER 2005... Sachin Scored his 35th test Century
On 6th FEBRUARY 2006(less than 3 months)... Sachin Scored his 39th ODI Century
Then he scored blistering 42 and 95 against pakistan on 11th FEBRUARY and 13TH FEBRUARY
after that he missed 11 consecutive ODI's due to shoulder injury
then in 23 MAY 2006 he scored 155, 147, 98, 101, 105 in consecutive 5 matches against Lashings world XI{County cricket}
Then in 20Twenty match against pakistan he hit 51 of 20 balls
he made a comeback to indian cricket team in SEPTEMBER 2006 against Westindies he scored blistering 141* ... westindies only won that because of D/L method and rain interruption
he was outside for 5 months and had a shoulder injury on him
he was TOP SCORER in 6 out of 11 matches played in 2006 after his comeback
_________________________________________________________
Most of his centuries are against
AUSTRALIA - 7, SOUTHAFRICA - 4, NEWZEALAND - 4, SRILANKA - 6, ZIMBABWE - 5
_________________________________________________________
now comes interesting part
Sachin has got out between 85 and 90 "28" times and in 90's "11" times
if he plays for himself he would have added 39 more centuries in his name ... means 80 ODI centuries ... and still ... what some idiots thinks is he should have been dropped ...

In tests
Sachin's Average in Australia is 54.18
Ponting's Average in India is 12.28

Last but not the least
Sachin holds a record of maximum no. of 100's by any loosing team ... that shows that he is a sole fighter ... India Often regarded as "One man army" ...

I quite agree with you.Players like Sachin are just like that. They know the best way to react is by scoring big runs. Sachin has just done that in style. And I get surprised that how do people criticise a player of Sachin's calibre.

Excellent! He batted his natural way and got the results. I think he is a bit upset when Arun Lal said this. But, fact is fact. Sachin, we want young boy Sachin again who doesn't know fear. Keep attacking and play; there is no one to bowl you out.

Ya u right he silenced all of the people who criticised him for his poor form...the windies were bamboozled by his perfomance in last one dayer..he was also awarded the man of the series...but the only thing to worry is will he open the innings in world cup or will be batting down the order....

I feel we are overpressurising him to perform whenever he comes to the crease, even when he is bowling! It's wrong. The last one dayer is a crunch match and he delivered. He should be left at that. At other times, if he guides the younger players around him and remain a source of strength and experience to the team, it's just enough. I'm sure wome countries will pay a fortune to him just to be with them and offer advise to their teams. Damn all the critics, for heaven's sake don't allow him to burn out or sustain another injury before the upcoming world cup.
