I feel it is a tough one. As there is not much difference between the two when it comes to wicketkeeping. Kartik started out as better keeper who took some splendid catches and effect stumpings. But Dhoni is quite safe keeper who has improved with each outing and also so took some brilliant catches. So i would prefer Dhoni as he is now more experienced and he seems safe as he doesn't get too excited as kartik missed few catches on bangla tour as fielder. Moreover Dhoni is better batsman compared to kartik so between two i would chose dhoni.

Dhoni and Karthik are as different as chalk and cheese . One orthodox, traditional and the other adrenaline pumped savagery. Karthik is for the purists and Dhoni is the in thing. But then the flamboyant Dhoni treads the narrow line between heroism and recklessness and is bound to fail on occasions.

Team india is contemplating playing one of their wicket keeper and seems to be in dilema whom to play and which one to rest as karthik showd great temprament in the last innings he played against south africa and impressed one and all ,IMO india should field both of them and they should seriously consider batting dhoni at number 1 so he can demolish the bowlers by taking the advantage of the field restrictions i think that he gets wasted at number 6 or 7 and we dont get to see the best of him and karthik will do more then a better job at number six or seven and he is a better wicket keeper.
happy mylot day.

i think Dhoni is the best wiket keeper i have ever seen after Nayan Mongia. apart from wiket keeper he's also a good hitter to the bowlers....
