What do you think about Children and TV Violence?

Childrens wach on average 3-4 hours on television daily.Television can be a powerful instrument in developing of chieldrens behavior. Unfortunately, much of today television programing is violent. And if you also think at the influence of so many violent pc-games....What can we do about these?

I agree that there is too much violence on TV, but I don't think that we can change that. The best solution is parental control - there is no other way to deal with this severe problem.

We can make sure that our children look to the proper movies or tv shows. We must control the type of movie they watch. Even the cartoons in our days are very violent and ugly.

I think the best way to prevent your children from being influenced by TV violence is to stop them watching it. I don't even let my children watch Tom and Jerry cartoons as I don't like the principle behind it. I think parents should take more responsibilty for their children instead of just switching on the TV to let it entertain them.
