Do you study/do work with music playing on the background?

Whenever I doing work or study I don't like music on the background. I am type of person that easily distracted and I need absolute silent to concentrate on something. There are people that cannot think even there are soft music on the background.

actually when comming to studing i want my surroundings should also b silent.but other than stdying if i am in any work then i prefer to do when music is on.and i can complete the work more faster when music is on.

with, definitely, with music. especially if i'm working on a project. heck, i'm listening to music right now. 'what you know' by T.I is playing now. studying though, i don't know if i could study with music on, yeah if i doing math or something then music' ok.

i love music as muxh as possible i study or do whatever i want with music,.,,it relaxes me and puts me in the mood.

sometimes i study with music because for me, if im so serious studying my notes, i easily get bored. so i prefer to study with music. but there are times that im not in the mood to listen the music when im studying.

I need to have complete silence when studying for examinations when i was in college..some of my friends do listen to music while studying which until now puzzles me.how can they concentrate with music in the background?

When I was younger, I'd study with a music on and my mom would tell me how can I study with that thing on! I'd tell her even doctors listen to music when they are operating why couldn't I study with the music in the background. She won't agree with me. So does my dad. He thinks I should have "utter silence" when I study. But they couldn't stop me. Now, it's weird because I'm now on the other side. I'm now part of the people listen to when they study. I have now worked in the same media that have been part of my life ever since I was a kid. the Radio biz! :)

When I work in the office - sometimes it's music on and sometimes it's off. When I paint, music is always on. When I study, music is off.

I can't study and read with noise in the background of any kind. I can't think and remember things with noise. When I read or study, I need total silence so my poor brain can comprehend things.

when i study i love to listen to music especially to rock ones and hiphop ones..it makes my mind work a lot..i usaully have my earphone plug in my ears whenever i go..i think music makes me work all the time..

I used to be able to do that long ago, but now i cannot do it anymore..it really distracts me, and my brain ends up following the music and not what i am reading. So if it depends on me i turn the music off :)
