have a faq on how you get paid... exactly what you get paid by and how much? I've been here a short time and can't figure out how to get maximum payment...Seems like everyone says something different... Some people say it doesn't matter how many responses you have and some people say it does... Some say its not quality its quanity and others quanity and not quality.. Please help mylot.. you make me stress about my postings... But i still love you :)))

mylot has not revealed to us how they rate us and give us our pay. it is secret and i doubt it if they will really tell us about it. mylot just speculate about how they are paid based on experience in mylot. nothing but pure speculations, guesses, not really backup or supported by data. this is how its going to be here in mylot. we just have to keep posting, respond to discussions, make friends, upload photos, make referrals. at times we get paid well at times we dont. at times we are satisfied, oftentimes not.hehehh

MyLot don't want to disclose their algorithm because they feel that people would then game the system (as has happened on other sites).
From experiments I've made, getting your response marked as the "best" seems to increase the payout for that response.
You can check this out for yourself. Go through a day when you just respond to posts. Note the number. Check on how many were marked as "best" by looking at the date on the "my best responses" tab, and compare to earnings. BTW a "day" is an American day, using American time. The American midnight is about 5 am GMT, and this is when their "day" starts.

I agree. Its completely ambiguous and as far as I know, no one knows how its calculated. I wish they were more clear, but I think they keep it shady on purpose so people don't whine about it or try to take advantage of it.

well, its not 100% spelled out how you do this but I added tips that would increase your earnings but its not a definitive guide and something that I have seen here happen. you read on my blog http://reviewszone.blogspot.com. For info on when you get paid its under your mylot earnings it says you would get paid on or before 15th of next month when you have reached the payout threshold.

yes and I agree as snowflake mentioned that its good that its not spelled out the logic on their calculation because that way the system would be beaten and mylot would lose money. Further other copy cat would start creating sites and the value of this site would go down.

I agree to a point but there needs to be some show of responsibility on the members side to make mylot the very best site to be on and earn,if I have fiqured this right if people would start and have discussions that carry longer then 2 people I think that you will make more because you have a dicussion how many topics verses how many responses some just one word some a couple paragraphs long with each giving as they fill if you get on here with no intent to make a certain amount each day you'll find better responses more rating and you will find you are earning more if everyone keeps asking how do we earn we are only repeating ourselves.

I have been here 10 days now and I also cannot find answers to my questions. I have asked some questions here to other members and some of them are unsure of how it all works also. I'm just rolling with the flow for now and just waiting to see how it goes. I don't have referrals, so all the work is on poor me lol. Goood luck.

I think it would be good if they had set payment for certain things. I mean i understand that they pay more for comments that they feel are more genuine and more helpful and that could be added perks but let us know exactly what is what. Is it 2cents a response or 20 and I don't know how some people make over five bucks in a day!!!

Yeah that will be good also for us to know or will have some basis on how they came up with our earnings and that we will know if we are being cheated and being paid fairly. greetings. : )

I agree I would like one of those as I don't seem to be earning much compared to other people but spend loads of time on here.
Any hints as to earn more would be gratefully recieved.

I have a different opinion. I don't think it would be better. Because, if myLot reveal it, then many people will try to manipulate it. Now, let many people guess it. But, people who really want to discuss, just discuss and let myLot the other myLotters decide it. Do not stress about the money. Just enjoy the discussion and you will see the great things happen...

There is an FAQ on mylot. you can find some official answers for the earning rate. But as far as I know, you earn more when you response more. Especially when your responses are selected as the best answer, you earn even more.So try to be active on mylot and response more, and you will earn more.

Yup.. me too.. all the things you just said. I could just copy and paste your question in order to answer it. I wish they would tell us what's going on too. But alas.. I guess we just have to do what we're doing and hope it works.

I feel that the earning part on our responses and posting isnt that great actually. Building the network team seems be to far more efficient than just our own posts. I mean, i agree that MyLot shouldnt disclose their means of giving out payouts. Even that is so, many people are concern about their ratings and the best response thet recieve. How ironic is that? More ratings feels more superior in earnings? Does a few more cents makes much difference anyways? I am here for information and sharing of opinion. Not the amount of cash i can get. I am willing to spend my time sharing valuable information than to care for the earnings itself.
So, who cares about the earning system. The more quality information you present, no worries about the earnings at all already.
