Some people are very competitive and will enter anything just to win. Other people just like to watch a competition, but never want to get involved.
I am only competitive in the things I am sure I will have a good chance at winning. Which one are you? Competitive or a watcher?

Both, it depends on what it is. Things I know I am good at and some one challenges me or doubts me, I am so competitive at that. However, when I don't feel threatened, I can have fun participating without the needing to win.

One has to be a good competittor to be a winner. Success comes to those who dare and those who are scared of competition often end as losers.

On the whole I'm not a competitive person, i don't feel the need to "prove myself" even when i think I can win .. I think about it in a rational way, how much money or benefits it will bring and does it worth the tension and the efforts, if not, then I don't feel like competing just to 'win' or be the 'best' or whatever .. I only compete when I have a fair chance in winning and if I think that it really worth it.

I am not really competitive, though I like to be the best at what I do.
But I usually am the person who stops and helps the people who are struggling.
I get involved but I am more a watcher I think, better a teacher.

I am a very competitive person, especially when it comes to bowling. I love seeing my friends and other people do well in bowling but I can be very hard on myself if I do not bowl as well as they do. Most people in my league are good bowlers so I want to bowl as well as they do. I will keep trying to be good at bowling. Sometimes I feel that I am letting my team down when I bowl poorly, even though the league is just about having fun. Watching is not for me. :-)

I am far too laid back to be competitive ... I don't even like watching competitions, quizes, or things like that on tv .. why do folks find watching other people winning things enjoyable ?? Seems a little odd to me .. !
But I do enter lots of online competitions .. I never really expect to win anything .. so when I do it's a lovely surprise ... but I only enter those competitions where I actually want the prize ...

Hmmmm I am not that much a compititive person. Mos of the time I would like to watch others. I can go to take part on a compitition where there is a chance to win or I can really enjoy the thing.

I am not overly competitive. It depends on what we are competing for.
I find it very annoying when overly competitive people get angry over little things like loosing at cards.
I also would not put my family in the poor house because someone has a nicer truck or house than me.
If we are at a horse competition I always give it my best and try to have fun as well. Otherwise I get too nervous.

I am not very competetive. I am confident in my abilities and talents that it does not matter if I win or loose in the eyes of others. I just always try to do my best at everything that I do but I do not enter contests just to be a winner in someone elses eyes.

In my younger days I was very competative in sports but especially in ice skating (dancing on ice) now I just like to sit back and watch.

I'm more of a watcher, but like you, I tend to be competitive in things that I am sure I have good chances of winning. Sometimes though, I compete silently.. that is, without making it apparent that i'm competing... but all in all, I rather be at the background watching.

Life can never be so challenging if we are not competitive. It is better to be in a healthy competition than taking it in a wrong way. Some people can never consider this presumption.
