Is it worth the bother? Every time you reach for your wallet, purse or credit card, ask yourself if it is really worth the effort. Every $15 you spend is an hour you are going to have to work. Is it really worth the bother? Just leave your money in your wallet - it's so much easier! If you leave the money in your wallet, you won't have to make any decisions, work overtime, and so on. By training yourself into thinking that spending money is a real hassle, you will be protecting your family, building an oasis and only buying items that will improve the overall quality of your life. Now, if you have decided it really is worth it.

I've found that to be true in my own life. The less we shop at stores, the more money we save. For awhile we were spending close to $500 every month at the grocery store. But, by simply avoiding the stores, we have been able to save a signifigant amount of money. Nowadays, I don't even bother going into malls, because it is so easy to spend away a weeks income. Not worth it! Best to avoid them entirely, so that we can save our money for more important things like housing!

As for me, my saving tips is this way. Whenever i got my salary i always make sure to segregate the target amount i should save and had budgeted enough the rest for the expenses. I have two accounts, one is the savings account and one is the payroll account. A portion of my salary goes to the savings account and whenver i reach the minimum balance of the savings account i put the exceeding amount into time deposit. You do not just save the money instead you make it have a little profit tru its interest. Being in a time deposit make it hard for me to withdraw so it is less tempt for me to spend the savings money for unnecessary things. The payroll account which i set for the expenses, i make sure those amount is enough else, i'll borrow some from my friends but making it sure that the stuff i will buy is necessary. MY friends do not hesitate to lend me as they know that i am capable of paying them and a good payer. Another saving tip is to list down the grocery items before going to grocery and a lot a little portion extra of the money for the stuff you forgot to enlist. Having a record of them makes you monitor the market price and do necessary adjustment on your source of income in able for you to cope up with fast inflation. For things you really want to buy, make sure to have a schedule of it have an extra savings which is alloted for that stuff in able for you to buy it in the future.

My saving tip is for grocery shopping. I found that I was spending a lot at the grocery store b/c of my kids. I go to Costco now at least once a month and that saves me hundreds of dollars by buying their snacks in bulk. Also, if you get the grocery service delivery, you tend to buy what you need, and not just put someting in the cart.
