Are you happy at work?

Do you think there is such thing as a perfect job? does going to work make you happy? do you enjoy your job? do you like you boss?
I ask because I work in an area in which I have been involved with all of my life in one way or another, yet my day to day worklife is quite unhappy. If you are unhappy at work would you quit and look for something else or do you stay and try to help change things?

The best job I ever had I look back on and regret ever leaving it. However, there were lots of streses with it and it was nowhere near perfect. However, I think there is such thing as the perfect job. Just because I haven't found it yet, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I like your thinking, perhaps my question about a perfect job was a bit far fetched, as others have said, is anything really ever perfect. But I like what you say about just because you've not found your's doesn't mean there isn't one out there. Good luck!

Although i do not think i have a perfect job ,at least i work happily. I like to work in retail as i can communicate with different customers everyday, even though some of the customers quite annoyed me , but i understand it is part of my job so i cannot expect everything is perfect.
My manager is very nice to me and my colleagues work in a group in a relaxing atmosphere.
If you are working unhappily , firstly you can try to do something to change something , if you cannot change it ,it is better to quit the job if you can find one in short time. I reckon if you do not get satisfaction in your job, you will lose your confidence and motivation in your life and ng turns bad. For example, if you are working for a boss who you do not like, nothing can be done to change hos character and the only way is to quit, otherwise, i think you cannot put up with him for long .

I don't think anything is perfect. Everything has its con and pro.

It depends actually. Depending on what type of person you are, the profession you have and the options you got.
Some people have motivation to work just because the job pays good money then they dont care about anything that bother them. Some of them really love the work because it is their dream job and they just take any negative remarks from boss as motivation to be the best.
The most secure way is just bear with it for a temporary moment, browse around for other jobs and if you find the right one, quit your current job.

There is no such thing as a perfect job.
It depends on the person if he consider his job perfect for him despite its negative aspects.
For me, I do not enjoy my work right now. I felt that I need to change work because I am not motivated and happy at all. I am decided to quit my job once I found a new one preferably overseas.
God Bless!
