Do You Know Your Neighbour?

Just recently I have gotten to know my neighbors. I moved a lot my whole life and then was living in apartments where I never really got the chance to even see my neighbors so I never knew them. Then when we moved into this house we were fortunate to have great neighbors, very friendly and everyone looks out for each other! I love it and I always want to live somewhere with a good community.

I know our neighbors fairly well, they are nice and are here anytime we need them, and we bring them leftovers from our dinners since they work so much- its nice having someone look out for you!

I keep up a very warm relationship with all of my neighbours. We exchange daily talks, not just a Sunday meeting. We help out each other to combat difficulties. It is a very healthy relation for me.

yep I know my neighbours,infact they are very sweet and very friendly..Even i have got few very dear friends from neighbours..i do agree among seven houses in our floor i dont know anything about the 3 houses,one of them is new to the place and other two people seems to be problematic and dont wish to mingle with us;)

It is sad to say but we don't know our neighbors. I just met one of our neighbors 2 doors down by joining a mom's club and one of our neighbors down the street is my son's preschool teacher. I didn't know she was even there before then. We talk to our next door neighbor sometimes but that's it. I think it's just b/c our neighbors are at least 8-12 years older than us so it's hard b/c we don't have anything in common with them.

Not really. We have new neighbors, but they're loud and they stay up partying and arguing all night. I don't care to get to know them.

I have lived at my place for about 4 years now. I don't really know anyone there. I have chatted with a few of them but not enough to really get to know them. There are a few there that I would really like to get to know better. That's for a different topic though. That is what i really like about that place, we basically stay to ourselves and don't bother the other people. There isn't much noise from radios, TVs or anything like that. The biggest noise is from doors closing because they are such big hard doors.

Our neighbors don't live next to us, or U can say we have no neighbors ... so to answer your question: no dunno them.

We've always kept to ourselves and I don't know that I could pick out most of my neighbors in a crowd. The one guy who lives right next door to us came up to us in the grocery store and we had no idea who he was. We just had one neighbor move in below our apartment that has decided we're his new best friends. He's knocked on our door a few times and tapped on my car window to say something as I'm about to pull away. He's a nice guy and all, but he already started off on my bad side by blasting his TV every night till after midnight. I think he's almost deaf and all he does is watch TV because his wife passed away so I can't really say anything.

yes. on one side i have 2 disabled men who are supported by social services. then on the other side i have my friend. well she was except i've upset her n she doesnt want to talk about it. so i dont know wat to do as i have no idea wat i have done!

I know my neighbors on one side and the ones across the street. They are very nice people. Then there are the ones that live on the left side of us. The whole family seems nice, except for the older senior lady. I don't think she is a happy person in general. She never smiles, and always looks like she is mad at someone. Maybe she is in a lot of pain. She isn't friendly, so I don't bother with her. Our neighborhood is mostly full of people that like to keep to themselves. I like that. I moved from a neighborhood that had a nosy annoying man across the street. He gave me the creeps, and I am glad we don't live there anymore.

i dont know my neighbours very well, thhough i am living here since long. Well but i know few peopel very well and found good tunning with them and became my good buddies but not my neighbours bot satys in same apartments where i stays. how do you find realtion with your neighbour is depend on both, so its not on eis not atll taking initiative to talk sometime.

yes i do know all of my neighbors, my religon tells me to behave them just like you behave with your family.

Yes, I have only lived in my home for a couple of months, but I have met and talked to a few of my neighbors on the block. I think it was easy for me because I have small kids.

Some of them, but not all and not that well. One particular set of neighbors could move and we would all be happier. A few of them are the village idiots, but the rest are nice.

I know my neighbors very well. I can go also with them well but of course there are some little problems but also negligible and I can tolerate them.

actually no. i seldom socialize with my neighbours. even if i wanted to. i live in a not so good neighbourhood and i've seen my cousins go to the bad side from socializing with our neighbours.

ya i know my neighbours very well....they are like our family members
