So as a parent which do you prefer cloth or disposable diapers? I have been using both alternately. In the morning I use cloth diapers then at night I use disposable ones. I like cloth diapers because they dont give my baby rashes, however, its tiring to wash them.

I use and prefer cloth 100%. My son gets bleeding rashes from any disposable diaper, I tried them all and changed him frequently. My family was suprised that he didn't get a rash when he diarrhea. I only have one kid in cloth, so I don't have a problem washing them, I don't spend that much on detergent (only use a few tablespoons), but I've had this routine going for over a year ;)

I raised 5 kids on cloth diapers and used Pampers when we went out. I believe in being thrifty and saved where I could and I knew washing diapers myself saved a lot of money. :)

i have no choice but to use disposable diapers, because i am a working mother, got no time to wash cloth diapers.
well, i use pampers all night. it makes my baby rash free.
i've been using that for four months now.

I've never used cloth diapers. I don't do laundry at my house and I would hate to make my husband wash dirty diapers as well. He has a hard enough time keeping up on the baby's clothes anyway.
Disposable diapers are pretty expensive, though. But we watch for them to be on sale and I am an avid coupon clipper, so that helps a lot.

I only recently started using cloth diapers, but I love them for my child. I don't find it a hassle to wash them and love that I am not filling a landfill with waist. They are so easy to use!

i also use cloth diaper for day time and disposable for night. the only drawback for cloth diaper abot it's washing. there are few diapers for which manufactures claimed to be rash free, but practically not so. i used them, but didn't find much better.

As a parent ,I definitely prefer using disposable diapers to cloth ones. I don't think I have that much time and energy to wash the nappies everyday. It's so much more convenient to use the disposable ones although it does burn a hole in my pocket.

Haven't tried cloth diapers since my 17mo old baby was born...But my baby did not had any diaper rash since she was born so maybe I thought using disposable diaper is ok, My pediatrician gave me this baby butt maintenance cream to stay away from butt rashes..it's called desitin. I opted to use disposables also because now there's a not-so-expensive variety

I've never used cloth diapers because they will only cause a mess. It's so hard to wash cloth diapers. Laundry detergent is expensive now, I think disposable diaper use is more convenient, both for baby and mom.

i do the same thing but i think the cloth diapers make rahses to baby if we donot check it frequently. the dosposable diapers atleast soak the wetness and keep the surface dry for some more time than cloth diaper but i also do prefer cloth diaper to other because i think that my baby feels more comfortable with cloth diaper to disposable diaper though i've got to change it frequently

I like cloth ones much better. I don't use them any more though as my daughter grew out of them and I'm trying to potty train her. But I did have to use a disposable one at night as she always used to leak and wake up wet.

disposable diapers don't cause rashes, leaving soiled diapers on your child causes rashes. Plus you just throw them away. Deffinately disposable is better.
