What is your intention of joining myLot???

I joined to network, expand my thinking, and the idea of being compensated to post was just a bonus. And although the money is icing on the cake (compared to other forums that don't pay you a red cent), there are some people on MyLot that are just here to spam and collect as much money as they can - disregarding quality. These individuals are what taints the whole purpose of MyLot. It's too bad that no matter how good something is...there will always be some bad apples in the bunch to jeopardize it for everybody. I really hope MyLot stays around regardless of this ignorance because I really enjoy it.

I initially joined myLot for the money..though I had no idea how much was being paid I joined:) But then a week into 'mylotting' and I began to enjoy myself. I love to read and write and here you get to do both, the best part is you get paid for it too...what else can I want?:) I have fun here and come back day after day for more. Some are here only for the money and will do anything to make a few extra cents..which is sad because they are cheating the system and will someday be banned form myLot. It's best to stick to the rules, emphasise on quality than quantity and have a good time here. Nobody is gonna become rich just by being on mylot..so chill and enjoyy!:)

well, initially i join mylot for the money... but as i stay here longer and longer, i change my mind entirely... i know the payment here is very little... yet i still want to be here because of the fun and enjoyment that i get from it and the new friends that i get from here... also, sometimes i get new knowledge that i never know before by reading other people's discussions...

My initial intent was to just sign up so my sister got the credit for a referral. But I too in about a week really started to enjoy and look forward to the discussions. We have some very talented smart people in this community and then again we have the Morons. I am getting much better at spotting the Morons... they are the ones with one word questions or responses. LOL Take care do well I look forward to reading more of your discussions.

i came here for earning.......now i am earning as well as this is a time pass website for me...

I was big on Yahoo answers. But since I found myLot, I use this. It may not bring much money, but getting paid some change is better then nothing. Plus I like the friends.

It is for money and thrill.I enjoy mylotting at the same time i enjoy seeing my earning going up.No denying of that.

i main reason is i get to know lot of thing and i like they discussion and they way they respond..and more over u r paid for it.that secondary..

well for me i joined mylot to participate in the discussions,responding to posts. i enjoy it here. earning is secondary, i want to have many friends too.

We all are here to make money n some friends.... but everybodies prime objective is too get $$$$$$s....

I joined myLot to have extra income, but I admit that I also enjoy responding to the posts because I know that by doing so, I'm interacting with people and it feels good. it feels good that other people might be reading my posts/responses and responding to me. It is also a good pasttime. It makes me busy. Thanks.

you wanna know the truth? i joined mylot because of money. But i come to like reading messaes and helping other people. It's nice t know you've helped someone!

Although I only joined last night I joined as I love networking online and learning new things. I visit (and have visited in the past) numerous other message boards/websites/communities/blogs but most are for a specific theme. I like the idea of Mylot that this can cover virtually any topic. The only limit is our imagination. I like the idea of only going to one place, instead of a pile of places. The money is definetly an added bonus, but I'd be here even if it wasn't on offer.

FOr me, there are many reasons for enjoying First of all for extra money. Second I love this site. It is great for my english and I like to response on the discussions.

I joined myLot by "chance" and decided to fill in a few weeks break from my official duties. I soon found very interesting, intelligent discussions and really enjoyed debating in a courteous way with people with very different ideas from my own. Surprisingly, I developed good friendships with people I would not normally associate with, because we walk in vastly different areas with vastly philosophies. These are good friends. You comment on users communicating between themselves with short comments. You will find that these are because of friendships established. These people are usually serious myLotters, who post long and intelligent responses, but like a little fun and comedy with their myLot friends. Surely, you don't object to this little bit of friendly banter? We concentrate on quality in our discussions and responses, but also know and recognise the value of good friends. (We do not get paid for these interchanges)

Well my dear i personally understand how you feel almost 90% of mylot users does same thing but my own opinion is that this community is a medium for sharing ideas based on different fields of life activity and as well as making money......I'm sorry for responding with these single lines

At first, my real intention to make extra money. I know that this will not be easy. As the days passed, I am glad that I join myLot because I improved my english and learned to discuss different topics. I also found out that I have improve my grammar. And learned from other people about their views and opinions.

i'm joined for happing fun, many friend and money. i like money.

I just joined today and I'm really enjoying it. I used to be in another paid forum just like this but I never got paid a single cent of what I earned and the site closed down shortly after. Anyway, I'm hoping this site would proof to be a better one. I join for 2 reason - money and to get connected to people. I put a lot of thought into what I write because I would wants others to do the same as well. It's not just about the money. I would like to think that maybe something I write or share might impact someone's life in a positive manner. I think that's more important. I'm a stay at home mom and don't get a lot of adult conversation at home, so forums like these are my "escapes"!
