why does the same side of the moon always face the earth??

this condition exists maybe coz the moon spins on its axis in precisely the same length of time that it takes to revolve once around the earth...

I think it is because the earth moves or rotates but the moon does not and that is how it is that way all the time.

the rotation and revolution of the moon around the earth is equal. so,we can see only one side of the moon.

Actaully I don't really know but it is a very good question and has made me sit here and think about it!!
