cant really comment cause around an yar back when i joined gmail it was way faster than yahoo.but over the past year it has slowed down considerably. i still prefer gmail.

I've no idea of Gmail because i have never used the site, it's always yahoo i use. So i better check first Gmail before i say which one is better.

I guess gmail has a server which hasnt faced any problems and would opt for gmail.

Gmail is superior to yahoo in every single way possible. Sorry for anyone that uses yahoo and is offended by this state ment.

when it comes to security i prefer gmail in sending emails and receiving too..but i only have two gmail accounts and 4 yahoo acounts.Problem with gmail is that you can sign up only through invites or thru mobile invites.

gmai..best to have mails working..they even give u smtp support and much more place like internet hardisk...whish u cna use it anywhere
