The Bold and the Beautiful

Anybody out there watch the bold and the beautiful? I try to keep up with it and last Friday Eric announced that Sally had died. Does anybody know what happened? She was a colorful character the I have enjoyed through the years. I'm sure she will be missed by everybody.
