What kind of milk do you put on your cereal? I love skim milk on my cereal. I have to have skim milk because I am allergic to the milk fat that is in whole milk and 2%. It is also more healthy, so you dont pack on the pounds as you get your calcium. THANKS!

Well I am allergic to milk so I don't drink it at all as my system definitely doesn't like it no matter what kind it is. But I give my kids 2% - because I agree it is much healthier than whole milk. Sometimes I will give our oldest child whole milk because he's all skin and bones but our youngest is a lil plump so he only gets the 2%!!!!

Oh wow - never thought of that and hey you are probably right as our younger one tends to be quite sneaky at times!!!! Now I will be keeping my eyes peeled at those cups - guess mabey I should give a separate color to each one then I will for sure know who's drinking what!!! he he he!!!

i also drink skim milk and use it on my cereal. I used to drink 2% but then my family went on this milk speel and started buying skim. I think it tastes the same as 2%.

I grew up drinking whole milk but switched over to 2% when I started living on my own and trying to eat healthier. Now that's all I use in my cereal or drink straight...will only drink whole milk if i have to.

I have rea from a diet book that they recommend dieters to take ski milk, as it is more healthy without packing on a lot of fat...If the taste of skim milk makes you grimace, You may try drinking half cup of whole milk, then half a cup of skim milk for a week, then gradually eliminate the whole...until you get used to the skimmilk

In our house 2% is king. We haven't tried skim. I suppose once the kids are passed needing the nutrient rich milk fat then we will likely switch.

i absolutely love whole milk (full fat) but we too have skim milk cause it is healthier, on my new diet i am allowed 1pint of skim milk a day but if i was to have full fat i could only have 1/2 pint...

I am a skim milk gal. I can't drink anything with more milk fat in it because the thickness of it bothers me, and the taste is too rich.

I cannot stand skim milk, but I don't want a lot of fat, so I compromise with 1%. That's the least fatty I can handle. I probably wouldn't like whole milk either, but I never really bothered to try it because I have no need for it (I have a toddler who is still in the whole milk stage). I did put it on my cereal a couple times, but it likes coats each piece, it's kind of wierd.

I used to drink whole milk. Thought the others tasted watered down. Then I started my daugher on 2% for the health reasons and then i started drinking it too. Now I don't like to drink whole milk because it seems too sweet. I don't like the sweet cereals too much, but my favorite is honey nut cheerios. I can't eat it with whole milk cause it's too sweet. I think I'll stick with my 2%. I might try skim, see what it tastes like, I've never tried it. That would be better.
