do you connect to the internet 24 7 or only when needed ? / myLot

as subject above, do you always connected to the internet for 24 hours 7 days or only when you needed to get information ? I'm connected to the internet almost 24 7, expecially when there is a huge download project ^^!.

mine is not unlimited internet connection.2.5 gb bandwidth per month.And i use internet for 4-5 hours daily.

yes thats wise, if you only get a quota based internet connection, make it a 24 7 just make your bandwith gone without you even known it.

i conect almost 24 hours a day but i use my handphone so i must charge before too late, and i hope i can buy data card to change my handphone and i guess it's more powerfull than handphone

mee too using handphone ^^!, but I usually charge also connect to the internet, so I didn't need to care about the batere level, and for this "hardworks" I usually bought a second hand handphone. data card is too expensive I think for modem. its cost arround 100$, while Handphone like motorola c380 or t68i we can bought it arround 30 - 35 $ second n works well for everyday hardworks ^^!, just another imho :D

at present two hours at night i use it for mylot purpose and in holiday i.e. sunday i use it minimum 4-5 hours at a stretch.

SIP, what you do while your pc idle n connected to the internet ? are you leave it just idle or add some jobs for them ? like downloading or uploading or streaming or something else ?

Only when needed. It's not good to let your PC stay connected to the net all the time while you don't need it.

I am not on internet 24x7 but whenever I want or I have some work I start internet and whatever the information I want i start searching after I got my information I quit.

I connect to the internet every day but not really 24 hours of each day because i am busy in the morning so i usually stay on the internet around the afternoons, have a nice day on mylot and happy earnings also.

I only get on-line when I want to, it's too expensive if I stay 24/7 on the net. I have to worry about the bills that I'm about to pay, electricity and internet bills. By the way, I'm connected via Wi Fi..

ouuu, you should use unlimited internet connection if trying 24 7, it is better than using quota version of internet conneciton, it can make you heart attack ^^! at the last of the month, when the internet bill comes.

I stay connected 24/7. Don't want to have to deal with reconnecting to the internet when ever I want to go on. Rather plop myself infront of the computer and go.
