My blood group is AB+ve. This means that I have both A and B antigens on the surface of my red blood cells and no A or B antibodies at all in my blood plasma. With the type of blood group that I have, I become a universal receipent, that is, I can receive blood from persons of all blood groups but I can donate blood to only those who share the same blood group as mine.
