tomato belong to vegetable or fruit

do you like raw tomato,i'd like to eat it as a fruit.but the scientists sort it into vegetaables,some people said this is the result of the tariff

In the botanical sense, fruit is the fleshy or dry ripened ovary of a plant, enclosing the seed or seeds. So, apricots, bananas, and grapes, bean pods, corn grains, tomatoes, and cucumbers are all technically fruits.

Absolutely correct! Tomato is a fruit, not a vegetable.

tomato belong to vegetable . i like raw tomato . its good for blood . i ever eat as a salad with food .

I would have thought it to be a vegetable, but who or what decides if something is a vegetable or a fruit, especially with all the new fruits and vegetables that are around these days, I wouldn't know what to do with most of them...
