In the united states our age of voting is 18 years old. That's when a person is concidered to be an adult. But sometimes when i see certain people at the age of 18 i don't think they are really responsible enought to vote. some are, but some aren't.

in the uk it is 18 and i think this is about right. Much younger and it gets silly we have fashions and fads as teenagers when we are discovering ourselves and the world around us, in a democracy that can be dangerous

The current voting age in my country(18 years in India) i feel is alright. The person becomes a major and is capable of thinking independantly. But bringing down this age may be a bit negative. i feel 18 is the optimum age. Nothing more to lose nothing to gain.
