Are you in contact with your parents on a daily basis?

Most of us have not been lucky to be staying with our parents, either due to our career or jobs or other induced differences. But even after all these issues, how often do you keep in touch with them and keep track of their well being? As of me I call up twice daily and keep myself updated on their health front.

I came to Oman although i prefer to be in India because my parents are here. They are both still working but i feel they are getting old and they need someone with them. I would have loved to stay back in India but i could never live with myself leaving them alone here so i see them everyday and take them out whenever possible and I try to take them out for dinner atleast once a month

i was lucky until last three months where in for career purposes i had to move out of the country from my parents
to be honest its indeed vry tough to stay without your parents specially if you have stayed with them for the past 25 years day in n day out.
here i have to cook my own food ,wash my own clothes ,iron my own clothes and to top it all there is no one to take care of you or stay awake the entire night if you are not well.
i truely miss them.
Due to monetary issues i cannot call my parents daily but yes i make sure i meet them online atleats for 2 hours[during my lunch break]and keep updating myself and them about family as well as other issues.

Thatz true, you realise their importance in your life only when you are away from them. They may also be missing you equally.
Take care of your self and keep them happy always.

My mom lives abroad so i make sure i chat with her everyday especially in the mornin,my time..she lives in the US so we have different time zones.if she doesnt go online the whole day i msg her through yahoo and ask how she is and if shes okay..With my dad I dont talk to him that much,he has his own family and quite frankly i dont miss him at all.

when we are still in the province, i visit my parents often, almost everyday, i check on them.
but now that we are here in manila, i text them once in a while, every other day or once a week, just to know if they are okey.
fortunately, i have brothers and sisters living near our parents ,that is why they watch over our parents.
